I like this mindset, I’d fire Silas and promote Abdelfattah before the draft. No offense to Silas but he doesn’t have HC chops, at least on a young team.
The implication is you believe the Rockets have a "losing" culture? They are executing a strategy, which is to get a high lottery pick. Revisit after 5 years. Glad RGV is doing well ...but the premise behind your thread is misplaced. Changing personnel doesn't change the strategy.
Wrong. Strategy is working fine. 1. Orlando just won a game. Rockets now hold sole possession of last place. 2. Even if Rockets don't get last place, the strategy is the same: 2a. Getting last place doesn't = #1 pick 2b. #1 pick doesn't = franchise success Steph Curry was selected 7th so...
Sure but 2 optimize the tank, u should aim 2 b last place. Silas almost fked it up beating the Blazers 2×
We haven't won since benching the Vets. While watching the youngins has been the most fun I've had watching Rockets Basketball in nearly 3 years, they desperately need rim protection. That layup line defense they put out there saved the tank.
Silas is a good coach. The Rockets have a team of very young guys and aren't even trying to win. So the expectation that Silas to produce is disingenuous. It sounds like a bunch of AL Pee fans mad he hasn't performed up too the hype, and wanna blame Silas
Great. Back on Earth, the Rockets are in last place ...and probably still won't get the 1st pick. soooo.... not sure why you are preemptively angry about a completely random outcome. Even with said outcome, it's still just a blip in the larger picture. Your anger seems a little off kilter with reality.
The Blazers have won something like 2 of their last 22 games and just lost by 50 tonight. Nobody was going to lose to that team late in the season without divine intervention. That's not even a team. I mean, holy crap, the Thunder beat them twice, and the Thunder aren't even a basketball team.
