Gordon Hayward, David Lee, Wally Szczerbiak, Brad Miller, Chris Kaman, Kevin Love, Kyle Korver give Tyler Herro another year. None of those guys except Love were taken with high lotto picks. As for the record of White Americans taken with top 5 picks in the last 20 years, one turned into a bust, Morrison (though tearing his achilles didn't help), and the other turned into an All-NBA player, Love. Basketball isn’t pushed in white communities as much as baseball and football. The best white athletes go to those sports. There have been some great white American players. In general, foreigners are at the top right now no matter their color. But you keep doubling down on stupid.

There's a reason most NBA players are Black and most Strongmen are White. Most white americans are from Germanic/Celtic stock, which means bigger torsos and smaller limbs, good for lifting, bad for hooping. Kevin Love stinks too huh? A white American player has not been drafted #1 since the 70s. There isn’t a comparison to Chet. I feel gross discussing race in regards to a prospect but it’s a baseless argument. Race and nationality has 0 correlation with actual success in the NBA other than opportunity and visibility with regards to where you’re born. Talent, hard work and luck have everything to do it. People have named 10-15 players and how many all stars have there been total and what is the percentage they are white and born in the USA? Please come back when he makes it.
