Here is another thought about Theis and Green. Look how the season started with both of them starting. Green’s play is better without Theis on the court. Then Green’s play still gets even better without Theis on the team. Maybe it is timing.

This was a nice trade to get out of Theis' contract. Schroder didn't end up impacting much around here given his limited role.

Green's emergence started when the middies began. He's no longer predictable to guard.

Stone could have used the MLE on an upside player who could have been swapped for value, instead it was wasted, so certainly a f**k up by stone in that regard.

Getting rid of his contract was smart to cut your losses, although Schroeder should have never played a single minute.

Worst part is that Schroeder will likely be resigned for cheap, at least if Silas gets his way.

Stone isn't quite out of the woods yet, first he needs to get out of the Wood, second he needs the draft lotto to go his way, A 5th pick might be a total disaster for this team, especially with internal improvement making tanking all the much harder in 2023-24.

I don't think a fifth pick would be a disaster. Just grab Murray or Griffin and be done with it IMO, or Sharpe if you want to roll the dice. People talked about the last draft as having huge drop-off at 5, and the projected top 4 did not include Barnes, Giddey, or Wagner.

He can't control that, poor luck in the lottery balls shouldn't effect anyones opinion of Stone. The team has successfully tanked this season, which is the most we could do.

If you are referring to Christian Wood, he can trade him anytime he wants. Question is will he get better than a late 1st, not if he can trade him. The Wood trade will almost certainly end up a net positive for the team in the long run.

This front office better not do a damn thing because Silas charmin ass wants it. He's been a good tank commander, but he hasn't done a damn thing worth complimenting as a coach.
