And that's with them taking one 3 away from him in the 1st half (changed to a 2). Guess he must have had a toe on the line. I don't think he had had a particularly good game from 3 because of that stretch in the 3rd where it seemed like he missed 4 o 5 threes in a row and didn't do anything else. But to his credit he didn't "turtle up" and came back a bit in the end even tho this wasn't his best game. He's finding ways to contribute even on "off" nights which is a great sign for the future imo.
I agree with all this. Great observations. The fact that he has scored 30 fives games in a row and now back to back on team vying for playoff positioning when he still has so much he can improve at physically AND with better knowledge of the game is super exciting, encouraging, and SCARY for the rest of the NBA. JG has only acquired 1 or 2 of the infinity stones so far. His gauntlet still has a bunch of gems missing and he is out here beating the **** out of the Hulk.
that's a good point. Maybe that's the reason Green doesn't cut now. Maybe Jalen not cutting is coming from Silas because of his gravity. Didn't think about that.
Not sure if anyone else has posted this yet or not, and I didn't get to catch much of the game, but there's one stat from the box score that is a little insane. KPJ and Green were a combined 10-24 from the 3-point line (41.7%). The rest of the team? 1-19! 5.3%! The Rockets have got to target shooting with their prospects moving forward, because Sengun, Christopher, Garuba, Tate and Nix cannot hit a 3-pointer right now, Mathews is insanely streaky (and shooting 33% since the All-Star break) and Martin Jr. doesn't take enough of them to be a consistent threat beyond the arc. You're not going to win many games when everyone aside from your two primary shotmakers go 1-19 from the 3-point line. It's not 0-27 bad, but it's damn close.
I think we win this game if those players didn't completely **** the bed on 3's. A lot of them were wide open too
Screw the L... I'm glad Jalen did 30pts again He's now alone at second place all-time with 5 consecutive games for a rookie... only trails Iverson (6) Two games remain. Breaking the record might help ROY Kid is extra explosive athletically even among his peers
I thought that there were 3 picks for the lottery that ANY team could get to a lessor or declining percentage.....and then it is worst record after that if you are not in the top 3.....is it top 4? DD
You're half right! Uncle Drew just has "filthy" handles. If I could have just 1 bb wish it would be for Jalen to have handles even "half" as good as KI. If he ever gets that he'll be unstoppable!
Ok saw they change it in 2019....which sucks....I liked that only 3 picks were up for grabs and then worst record on down from 4th pick, now it is from 5th pick. DD
was at the game tonight a couple takeaways it’s annoying how much jalen stands in the corner. sometimes he literally doesnt move at all christopher is hella TO prone. super loose with the ball. jumper needs a total overhaul as well garuba changed the game in the fourth. crazy good defense and rebounds blake griffin is super annoying even when hes just warming the bench barclays is called the library for a reason! 90% full and its still crazy quiet
