Lol that was my reaction as well... I think that is all anyone will see when they read those raw numbers.
Iverson averaged 46 minutes in those games. In two of the games he played 48 minutes. In another 2, he got 5 fouls and only got 43 and 46 minutes. lol.
Not only is he scoring a ton of points, he's doing it on awesome efficiency as well. Green isn't a black hole on offense, and by all accounts seems to be a really great teammate. That bodes really well for both him and the future of the Rockets. I knew he would develop as the year went along, but I had no idea that he would finish his first season this strong. Makes me think...what if we had traded Christian Wood and EGo at the deadline? What would his numbers look like now? But that's ultimately not important at all. What is important is seeing our future stars playing together, building chemistry together, and creating a solid foundation for the future. And another top-5 pick will only help
Upon further review, he also averaged 30 FGAs per game in those games... that dude wasn't human, but that was also an era when top players were averaging probably 35-40+ mpg. But still... From basketball-reference.com, Iverson's stats over that period ...
