Western Conference Finals Game 7 2018 was up there for most obviously rigged sporting events I have seen. Very few come close. The league identified Golden State as a team they wanted to win.

Right, but it was league sponsored. I remember all the blatant missed calls and KD standing 5 feet out of bounds too and ever since a part of me knows that the league will predetermine a good portion of its storylines. Teams like Houston need to avoid close games like Dork Elvis would say: "good teams dont win close games - they avoid them"

Yea the NBA found their golden child in Steph Curry and they were gonna do whatever they had to do to get him multiple championships. Sucks because if the Rockets had a fair fight we could have at least gotten 1 championship through those years.
Yea it makes sense though. They were by far the more popular team, had a more glamorous playstyle and played in a more marketable city There was no incentive in seeing an aging rockets team win. There was no narrative to sell other than the fact that we were actually the better team
That game 5 in 2019 hurt. Looks like Thompson stepped out of bounds those last few seconds in the 4th and Livingston fouled Gordon. And what about the blatant Durant saving a ball with both feet out of bounds in a reg season game. Smh.
So true. We've all witnessed it. There are rules for the vast majority of the teams in the league, and then there are a set of rules for a chosen few, and Golden State is definitely one of them.

i agree and disagree. Rockets and Harden kept looking to the refs like they were going to help them when they were clearly cheating. I know it was an up hill battle but man whenever they would cry and whine to these scumbags instead of hooping I would get so angry.
Never would have gotten to 27 if not for a 4-point play that got waived off 11 misses in. But hey, Harden and Paul were dumbass chokers going up against the Golden Skinned Warriors, we never really stood a chance.
