If we by some miracle get the top two picks in the draft, who are we taking? Banchero and Smith, Holmgren and Smith, Banchero and Holmgren? Or maybe Ivey and one of the bigs?

Could Smith play the 3 if we wanted to start Holmgren and Sengun?

How did Harden fck us over if we won the hell out of the trade? We were headed nowhere with Harden.

only organization he screwed over was BK, but Kyrie is the one who is the root cause of BK’s problems…Harden would still be there right now and they’d be the favorite to win the title if Kyrie wasn’t an idiot

Nets r in play in yet they the one that won the sixers trade. Some folks hatred of harden is so great that all the blood use for intelligent thought gone straight to their hate boner.

A trade where u give up harden for Simon's who has yet to play a min is never consider a win hence y the Nets r in play in.

We need to draft Jabari Smith so that he and Jalen green can rain 3s.

So right now, what are the odds of LAC, CHA, and ATL passing up the Nets so we can end up with the 13th pick?

Is there a possibility of that happening or what pick do we end up realistically?

I'm leaning: #1-Jabari Smith and then #2 Ivey

#1 Jabari Smith and #2 Chet Holmgren as a close alternative

Watching Banchero tonight....I actually like Brady Manek as a Dirk Nowitzki
later pick over Banchero. Manek held his own.

    You're right.

I agree, we were going nowhere with him, so he didn't technically screw us over. I'll always have a bad taste in my mouth with how he left though.

Yeah they'd be the title favorites if he stayed, but things got rough and he checked out.

We have different opinions on JH. I get why people defend him, he's great. He's just not my cup of tea.

I'm staking my claim as of right a 32-50 record next year. Which is about 60% increase from this season.

Draft order is based on regular season records. It's basically split into two groups: (1) playoffs teams and (2) non-playoffs teams

Playoffs teams will pick #15 - #30. Non-playoffs teams will pick #1 - #14 according to the lottery results and their regular season records.

If the Nets lose the play in (do not make the playoffs), the pick will either be #13 or #14 depending on the final records.

There's a small chance the pick will be #12: Both the Timberwolves and the Nets miss the playoffs and the Nets are the 10th seed in the East.

In my opinion, not next year, but possibly down the road?

I don't know if Sengun can start next year though... still needs some work!

It feels like every year that the Rockets get the first round pick of another team, it teases us like it could be pretty damn good and then it recovers and things don't go our way.

It's been different this year and I'm loving it.

I'd be happy if this pick was #16, but I've stayed focused on any way it could slip to lottery. I really thought the only way was Toronto and the mandate staying in place.

Still likely that they finish in the 7-8 range and then win one of two games in the play-in, but the hope just stays alive :)

Yes, Smith has no issue playing either 3 or 4. With that said if the Rox get 1 and 2 it should be Smith and Ivey.

He ****ed us over by lowering his draft value with his antics and made it so only 2 teams were in play for him, Philly and BKN. Harden was coming off another good season and lots of teams would have been willing to pay top dollar for him, due to him wearing a fatsuit and throwing the ball at teammates we got 80 cents on the dollar for him.

Credit to Stone and crew for making lemonade out of lemons though.

He also ****ed the team over twice by colluding with Cp3 one year and then feuding with him 2 yrs later, and then doing the same thing with his BFF WB to the tune of multiple draft picks and other assets. Yes the owner is the one who pushed thru with the trade and Morey was complicit agreeing to dumbass demands by Clippers and OKC, but Harden was the instigator of both deals and you know they wouldnt have gone down without his approval. Reports are Harden wanted to compete every year else he would threaten the Rox with dipping:
