You are the one who stated "real discrimination". This means anything short of killing someone is not real discrimination. Don't deflect to what other people may belive.Don't post BS articles. You said it. Own it. Can I effect change in countries where I don't live and gay people are murdered? Nope. Does that mean I don't care it happens? Nope. Perhaps you need to research "logical fallacies" because that is all you are posting.

No, it doesn't mean that at all. I hope for your sake that you are just unsuccessfully trying to score a point, and that you aren't really as dumb as a rock as those sentences make you seem.

It was a deliberately chosen crass example of real discrimination. There are many things in between what you guys are outraged about and killing people.

The point is that you guys are more outraged about something that, even if one were to agree with you that it is to some extent discriminatory, is much, much less discriminatory than something you guys not only express even a fraction of the outrage about compared to this, but you guys even attack those who point these things out.

It's the unholy alliance of the left and Islam.

Time and time again, you guys show that if it's something that you think could be attributed to "the right" or to "conservative Christians", it riles you up, but when followers of Islam do something much worse, you turn a blind eye.

"Christian Taliban"...you are completely out of your mind. Between this and what the Taliban do, there is a world of a difference. It's actually a mockery of the victims of Taliban terror, and shows how out of sync your moral compass is.

I believe this lady has said and done many things I would disagree with, but what she says there is absolutely correct.

So as long as things happen outside your borders, you don't care? Are the lives of Afghani gays worth less to you than those of American gays? How sad.

There you go using "real discrimination" again. See you can't even stop yourself. You seem to believe people can only think about one thing at a time. Probably because of your own mental deficiencies. I can assure you I can be outraged at gays being murdered in other countries and at the same time be outraged at the discrimination of gays in my own country. The difference is I can do something about what is going on in my country.

You really seem to be on this Muslim kick. So because some Muslims are bad that means all are? Using your logical fallacy that means all Trump supporters are going around raving about "the 13%" , carrying tiki torches, yelling "Jews will not replace us", and storming the Capitol building. So have fun wearing your Buffalo head helmet and carrying your torch.

What can you do about this law in Florida? Do you vote in Florida?

So... it appears that you now agree desantis' bill discriminate... just not as much as throwing people off roofs. Of course... it is happening here in the United States, but its a republican governor doing it, so you give it a pass.

Nope, but I can help create enough dissent to where they won't even try to consider passing a law like this where I live. I can vote against this idiot when he decides to run for President.

No, I don't think it is discrimination.

I also have no dog in the race when it comes to Republicans vs. Democrats (as I cannot even vote in the US, for the foreseeable future).

Just because B may be a more important issue than A on some universal scale, it doesn't mean we shouldn't try to fix A without first fixing B.

B might be a harder problem to solve. Living in a democratic country gives us the ability to affect change in our own laws through a democratic process, and part of that process is speaking out. Much harder to change how people in other countries treat each other.

Or A might be something we are more directly responsible for than B. I have much less of a moral right/duty to try to change how people treat one another in another society than I do for the society I myself live in.

It's not just about Florida. Americans should also be concerned that other states don't implement the same law. And the Florida governor has a national following, so this is definitely cause for concern elsewhere.

So you agree then that people should wait until they are 21 before they decide on their sexuality? I'm curious but what age did you know what your sexual orientation was?

Cause for concern only if you disagree with the law. A lot of people think strengthening parents' rights and pushing back woke indoctrination is a good thing.

    Being anti-woke doesn't mean being pro-discrimination.

In fact, some of the woke ideology is very discriminatory itself.

I like this song, and its anti-discriminatory message.

Like Macklemore, I've loved girls since before pre-K.

I keep on hearing the word "indoctrination" used. Is acknowledging the existing of something "indoctrination"?

Why not wait until you were 21 until making that decision?
