LOL - you are just here to pick a fight......sure Sengun is not quick, but NBA GMs are salivating over him, and his skillset......Luis Scola had what, a 10 year run? That is baseline for Al-P.....he may never be a superstar but he is always going to be a positive player on the floor.

I agree with you for the most part. Scola was in different league. The league has changed since then. However, I do agree that Al -P is going to have a long career and I think he'll be more of a Starter/6th man

Scola was automatic from the mid-range and his post moves were much more polished. But even he got driven out of the league towards the end of his career. It sounds far-fetched but if Sengun doesn’t improve his shooting, I can easily see him out of the league by the end of his rookie contract. Look at guys like Greg Monroe and Enes Freedom.

This is absurd. Firstly, Sengun just turned 20 yrs of age, Scola was already an international veteran and 27 when he was an NBA rookie. Sengun is just barely getting started. Monroe and Kanter were solid backup bigs but were NEVER nearly as skillful as Sengun. There’s probably less than 5 bigs in the entire league that have the offensive skills Alp has, not as good but just based on skillset.

Bruno looks AMAZING, he should probably be starting next to Wood - let Wood be out on the edge, and let Bruno hold the block, bring on Sengun to give both a rest.

You must have never watched Kanter play. Kanter was a prolific post scorer. He just sucked on defense. Sengun being super skilled is a myth. He struggles mightily on both ends of the floor.

AshleyEm’s basketball IQ is legend, and by legend I mean a myth, like the Loch Ness monster.

I agree with you, anything can happen and people lose sight of how careers of talented people get derailed easily by injuries, off court problems, bad coaching, or any random change in officiating or overall style of play in nba....

Bruno was amazing this entire play. Nobody else on this roster today would’ve done this. The hustle and multiple efforts were on full display. One second he’s up top setting a screen for Nix then he’s in the paint. Then he sprints back out to screen again for Josh and then he re-screens leading to a pick and roll where he throws down a lob. Damn I didn’t realize how much I missed having a real center on this team.

Looks a nice pick pickup. Long term solution? Not sure about that.

Imagine watching basketball, seeing Sengun play, and coming away with the conclusion that he struggles to play offense.

Hakeem-eques numbers. If only stupid Silas would play him starter minutes, he'd be a franchise center!

You are funny. As per usual, I did an OP before anyone else on how great Bruno was and compared him to a poor man’s Manimal (which is a fantastic compliment) and said if just given the chance he’d impress. You followed the others in flaming me for making that judgment. Now he is “Amazing”. You and others have a chance to redeem yourselves, by listening to me on Chet Holmgren who I insist will be detrimental pick for this team. Two guys we don’t want to waste top 6 picks on are Holmgren and Griffin.

Don't know about FRANCHISE but dude most definitely deserves ti start! Guruba and Sengun should come off the bench.

Sengun is a baller but think he look better against reserve players

if you squint you can see a quality back-up center.
