Honestly this is what we want this time of the year. A lot of us have been asking for this all season (not tanking, but extended looks at young guys). What we're seeing is how capable Green is offensively, how much KPJ is better suited to play attacking as a guard and not slow and roll point guard duties, and we're finally seeing Nix/Garuba/etc. on the court. It's really tough to state just how poor Garuba's conditioning looks out there. He's trying, and he is good on picks, the boards, etc. there are some intangibles I see. But he's a step slow, which absolutely should not be the case for a 20 year old, and he looks like he could drop 10-15 pounds and put on muscle. He's not going to compete in this league in the condition he's currently in. It's just not gonna happen. I was also a bit disheartened by Nix's play. When he's in, he's gotta look a bit more for his offense and show the value he can bring to this team. All in all, great loss and really hoping we lose out here and that the odds end up in our favor.
If the Rockets were smart, they would create a position for a professional streaker for the rest of the season lol.
