Disney announces task force for LGBTQ content for CHILDREN

99% of people arent perverts and aren't advocating sexuality conversations with 3rd graders.

 

Ask yourself this:

Has Disney stopped doing business in countries where homosexuality is criminalized?

(Newsflash: It has not.)

If they really cared about LGBT rights more than about dollars, they would go to battle with the Saudi Royal family rather than with Ron de Santis.

But they don't.

 

A major global corporation acting hypocritically to protect their market access?!

Shocking I say!

There's an easy solution to this. If you don't like what Disney is doing here or in the PRC. Don't give them money. Don't watch Marvel movies, Star Wars, Pixar, go to their theme parks or buy their licensed merchandise.

 

It's ok to point out the hypocrisy of woke.inc.

Whether I find it appalling enough to boycott their products is a separate decision, but not a prerequisite to being allowed to criticize them.

 

Sure you can criticize them I'm just saying a major corporation acting hypocritically isn't a surprise. I would be more shocked if they didn't act hypocritically.

 

I made this same point regarding Delta and other corporations with major operations in Atlanta when they were pulling up operations out of their because of GA's voting law. I didn't expect them to be doing so because they were actually "woke" or really cared about the access to voting. They were doing so because they feared that their own business would be negatively affected.

Corporations like Delta and Disney only exist to make money. There is a reason why it's called the "bottomline". I don't think for a minute that Disney's LGBTQ task force is because the corporate entity actually believes in LGBTQ rights or an advancing an LGBTQ agenda. They are only doing it because they are worried about bad publicity, boycotts and etc.. that might affect their bottomline. That's why I mocked it as being CYA and from what I've seen out of it it looks like CYA to me.

So by all means go ahead and criticize them point out how hypocritical they are. It won't make a difference to them until it threatens their bottomline.

 

It's amazing that we're literally back to 1950s anti-LGBTQ+ propaganda and conservatives are eating it up by the mouthful and begging for more.

When they come for gay marriage a bunch of you will be here excusing that too. Slippery slope is real for this issue, especially when people are using old 1950 propaganda that people in the LGBT community are groomers or sexual predators.

Then what's the point of passing this type of legislation? As a Christian I don't see any benefit to it...

Yeah the whole 'Gay people are actually just groomers and pedophiles' is as classic as it gets really. So anyone that uses those terms when referring to gay people I always know there's like an 80% chance they are homophobic.
