Why are you bringing up something completely random? My point was about which situation was better for Harden, looking at the two rosters, but whatever. The dislike for Harden distorts reading comprehension, apparently. And the Nets needed Harden's overall game more than the shooting Curry and the rebounding Drummond provides. They already had Mills, Kyrie when available (which is every game now) and Durant when he was healthy (which is every game now), for scoring and shooting. In addition to whatever offense Harden provides. Curry missed two big 3s with less than 3 minutes to go, and didn't take a single shot in OT. Harden also made the corpses of Griffin and Aldridge relevant. They, along with Claxton, are more effective than Drummond. Drummond, who can't be counted on to even be in the play at the end of games, for fear of getting fouled and going to the line. Notice that he missed 2 clutch FTs in the 4th. With 90 seconds to go, Drummond could have made it a two possession game. Baffles the mind that you thought the Nets would rather eschew Harden's assists for Curry and Drummond.
Doc really doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut. Last time he was this honest, Ben Simmons was practicing with his cellphone in his front pocket Passive aggressive Harden is coming.. we all know it. you cant say anything to James Harden without him throwing a passive tantrum.
You literally quoted me when I was talking about KD and Kyrie. You know… Brooklyn Nets players. The you have the audacity to say I have reading comprehension problems when I mention players added to said Brooklyn Nets? What the **** twilight zone am I in? Make it make sense!
There's so much on the line with Harden these coming playoffs. His legacy, his upcoming contract, @HardenVolumeOne ClutchFans membership.
If you're not the type of coach to fight the current by going with the current, like Phil Jackson, coaching a player like James Harden would be frustrating AF. Doc must be having Simmons's flashbacks.
Bruh. I'm saying if you're Harden and looking at the rosters to decide what's better for you: taking the best players off each team (KD, Embiid), you'd be left with Kyrie + scraps on the Nets, and a combination of Maxey/Curry/Harris + scraps, because you don't know exactly who or what you're getting traded for, since it wouldn't be a straight up trade for Simmons (in this case, it was Curry and Drummond). So scraps aside, it's Kyrie vs Maxey/Harris. If you're Harden, the choice is easy. Stay on the Nets and wait for the mandate to be lifted and/or KD to come back, and just roll with the team. Even though you just lost 11 in a row and are now 29-27. Because Kyrie + scraps >>> 2 out of the 3 of Maxey/Curry/Harris + scraps. I basically agreed with you that it was a poor decision to leave KD and Kyrie and gave my reasons why. But you randomly went off on a tangent about which team's trade package was better and why, which had nothing to do with what you first said nor what I said when I quoted what you first said. Because you seem to want to work in "Harden sucks" in every post you type about the guy. Your POV for being so negative about Harden was because "fanbois" or whatever, would reply to you. Well, no fanbois are replying to you, yet you're still as negative and toxic as ever...so not sure what excuse you have. Just own it, bro. You hate Harden.
Doc thinks he has more clout and pull than he actually does. If Harden really is declining and the 76ers flame out of the playoffs sooner than later, it's still far easier to fire a coach than trade a contract like Harden's. Rivers thinks he has Pop level job security when really, he's Steve Nash.
Harden is a much bigger diva than Ben IMO. I think Ben felt a way because Doc threw him under the bus when everyone was already sh*tting on him. Coach has to give you a layer of protection in the media. Doc blaming a player is so weird. You take the blame, then talk to a player in the locker room.
Enough is enough. He knows Harden's repertoire. Team was doing fine without him. They got the stats that prove how horrible Harden was.
