i guess for me, i try to look at players and also take context into account. For example, if lebron hadn't left the cavs (horrible franchise, etc.) and had 1 ring with a 1-4 finals record instead of his 4 rings, i wouldn't view HIM any differently. Hardens peak overlapped with the best team in nba history due to silver being incompetent trash and durant wanting the easy/free rings. I think it's outright stupid to say that Harden is a lesser player because KD went to the warriors, or because of adam silver, or because of scott foster. I also wouldn't think more of Harden if Gordon and Ariza had gone 9-21 instead of 2-21 on their 3s and the Rockets blew out the warriors.
We were the favorites though. The Spurs series. After Kawhi Leonard got hurt, we were big favorites in game 6; we all remember how that turned out.
Lol Doc thinks this will motivate Harden. He doesn’t know him well. At all. Harden is a sensitive, passive aggressive beeotch. This will only make him quit more and he’s prob plotting his next exit strategy while he parties the night away.

Harden's failures right now is going to feed a lot of the existing and partly deserved narrative about him coming up small in big situations. But none of this will matter IF he comes through in the playoffs for the Sixers. Just like in 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021 he'll have the opportunity to change his reputation by coming up with a defining postseason performance when it matters most. The question is, will injuries, himself and/or other factors once again prohibit such a performance.
