At worst, the only person Will Smith embarrassed is himself. It was at the behest of defending his wife/partner. It was warranted. I don't think I could love someone who didn't defend me, especially in situation that I did not start or do anything wrong. I think most people, even men would have their ego bruised, if their wives didn't defend in different matters.

As far as making Black men look bad, there's literally thousands of examples I could pull up in 10 minutes that are far worse in that trope than what Will Smith, both famous and non-famous. Actual deviance and criminal activity. If you are living through other people, and expecting them to be your living role model as an adult. You've got other things to work out with your identity issues.

Yeah, I agree, I think Jada comes out of this looking the worst, because obviously she has been feeling some kind of way about Rock.

The laughing and zero to 100 is bizarre.

It was not warranted lmao. This isn't on the streets or some back alley behind a parking lot behind closed doors. Also the whole defending your partner aspect of it, if you need someone else to help defend you, maybe you is the problem?

Not saying there fibbing but I wonder how hard they actually tried, no one who was there has even mentioned this and several "stars" commented that he should have been thrown out

Try that line at your local tavern and see if you get the same response.

Perhaps, though, it's not the first time Rock has insulted her at the Oscars. Just because, someone is comedian, doesn't mean they are immune to being an ass#ole or a bully. I'm pretty sure, if some random person was insulting or making fun of you in public, I'm pretty sure most men wouldn't take that lightly. Again, probably if it is someone they don't like.

If you can't/don't/refuse to defend your partner, especially for a situation that you did not start or have a hand in. There would be no point in being a partner with that person. Jada didn't start any of this, that's kind of the point.

I've seen grown men get slapped in the face, before in public, when it was warranted and no one was rushing to their defense. Don't know what started these situations. But, I don't know why that would be different for a celebrity or a comedian.

    It's colossal hypocrisy.

    My 2 cents:

Will Smith sucks. Will Smith has always sucked. Will Smith will continue to suck.

You don't have to assault someone to defend your wife.

Will is a cuck and was trying to prove his manliness since his wife has emasculated him publicly.

Chris Rock has gone on record as saying he was bullied a lot growing up. Isn't it ironic that he grew up to basically bully celebs under the guise of comedy? It's another form of bullying. People get hurt by it. He's flipped the script basically. In this case, Chris bullied Jada with a bad joke and then went from bully to bully-victim when Will became head bully and put his foot down. Bullying is basically a form of comedy. A bully usually is bullying in front of his friends (who may nor may not participate) so they can make fun of and laugh at those they are bullying. It's fun for everyone except the victim. And, no matter how badly the victim may feel, the bully comes back for more whenever he needs laughs and that feeling of empowerment that comes with putting someone down. Isn't really the only time it's not considering bullying is if the victim is in on it? People think celebs are all uppity, elegant, and/or fancy, immune to regular people problems, like the spotlight, and comedians are necessary to make fun of them to keep it real. But, it's obvious that celebs are hurt by it deep down...especially if it cuts too close to home. People tend to think comedians have a green light to rip on whomever they want however they want for laughs and it's "legal". And, for the most part, they do and it is. But, not always....especially if one of the victims has issues in his life...like Will.

In conclusion, yes...Will Smith is a sensitive b***h. Growing up watching his Dad abuse his Mom and feeling powerless to stop it made him that way. It's a deep issue for him. And, one that certainly factored into this incident and his tantrum. It doesn't excuse it. But, it's a part of who he is and how he responds to stimuli.

Jokes are a way to diffuse tense situations. I don't think Chris Rock is turning the tables and bullying people because he was bullied. I mean, he may do it on occasion but he's funny because he was a little guy in rough situations and made jokes to get out of them. Tim Allen said that jokes were his way of navigating prison, too.

Anyway, why the f*** are there two threads? Who's the, f***** f***** Chad who started this second one?

And, I should care about this ... why? No one in this situation means anything to me. People don't need to storm the capitol to have their rights, heard. Innocent people shouldn't have to die over political protest.

Reporters get slapped often. John Stossel got slapped by Dr. David Schultz, and people still defend Schultz for defending wrestling against someone who called it fake.

A cuck who is a movie star who is worth $350 million, has probably bedded all sorts of women, and is living his best life. If he is a cuck, what does that make the average guy who has absolutely not even 1% of that.

Cuck is such stupid word. Incels and pilled people have ruined what that word actually means. Now, it can mean anything that they don't agree with it.

It's beef between two guys at that. Nothing to get excited over.

The hypocrisy is on Will and Jada as well, as if they have never laughed at a comedian making jokes at other's expense.

Oh yeah, Will laughed at the assholes joke in real time.

Most men would understand that this is what happens at the Oscars, and not go 0-60 just because they got a look from their significant others.

Have you ever seen the Oscars or a comedy show before?

Seems you don't understand what actual bullying is or what comedy is.

    None of that was bullying.

Answer this why did he laugh at the joke initially if he thought Rock was being a bully to his wife?
