I think we need one of the 3 worst records - not necessarily the worst. For the bottom 3 the percentages for the first 4 picks are the same - the remaining percentages are just divided for one more spot each. I think this draft has a clear top 4 - and then it goes all over the place. So we need to preserve the best chances for a top 4 pick above all else.
yes, but every place “better” than worst costs us a spot in the 50% chance we don’t get a top 4. 5th is meaningfully better than 7th.

OKC did Houston, Orlando and Detroit a huge solid by beating the Blazers. Now they can all afford one more win and still stay in the bottom three. For the Rockets, these two games against the Kings are the last obstacles to finishing with that bottom 3 record. The rest of their schedule is against playoff teams. I don't care if they win one, but they can't win both.
It’s the home stretch and seems like all the other teams are very focused on losing (Thunder especially) so we need to do the same. This is a great draft for a big and we need to secure one. Fills a need and they all have good-great potential imo.
