Peaky Blinders. The show started to decline heavily in Series 5 and has only worsened in Series 6. Take everything that was great about the show and flush it down the toilet, great minds at BBC.
Billions, Shameless, and really anything on Showtime since they always run their shows into the ground. Then set them on fire...after beating and stunning them with a cattle prod.
Just had this poster made. Found out when they were tearing it down they noticed a bunch of bullet dents/holes. Lol. Houston back in the day.
Billions was my go to and then Ax had to leave and I lost interest, I watched the first 2 episodes this season and the chemistry is all wrong for me......bring back Ax. The last season of Shameless was a joke, they should be ashamed to have such a great show and then do us like that.
Two eps in and started getting a bad feeling about it...thanks for the heads up. Finally got into "Orange is the New Black". Halfway through season4 and it's starting to lose me (man, what happened to Lori Petty?!?!). Have been bingeing "Upload" on Prime. It's got a "Black Mirror" vibe, but waaaaaaaaaay less dark.
Without Ax it seems . . . hollow Everyone is just near cartoony So many of the other characters just lack character now . .. . while they were interesting . .. they never grew and are just . .. blah Taylor has moved on to blah annoying Wendy is semi sex annoying Chuck is desperate annoying etc Rocket River
I really like Anson Mount, he was great in Hell On Wheels, I might actually give this a try, and I have not liked any ST since the original.
These last seasons started out very strong with both iterations they never went completely off the rails, but the endings left something to be desired. I tried to get into this show, it should have checked all of my boxes, but I could not get into this show. Maybe it was too much going on, and none of the characters were especially likeable. It was kind of over the top as well.
Young Justice back That first episode. . . . interesting but the story does not appear to truly be the focus Definitely narrative and agenda driven Rocket River
Where is it? HBO Max? I have seen some Young Justice stuff on there and wanted to check it out, but did not know if it was new or not. It was always one of my favorites. Aqualad was low-key a badass.
Yeah, Aunt Polly passing took out Peaky Blinders and Billions on my interest list for this season. They were already going downhill so... Heck, I assumed the season before was the final one for Peaky Blinders. Instead, it became the brits version of Walking Dead.
I'm almost done with S1 now...the space stuff and the alt-history stuff surrounding it are great, the human-interest family stuff is snoozetastic. Will keep watching.
