Saw the Cade highlights expecting to be impressed. All I saw was a nice 3rd quarter and then stat padding in the final 3 minutes when the game was already in Brooklyns hands. Meh. He also looks like he is running in slow motion compared to Jalen Green.
Even now, at (almost) full strength, it struggles to win against the worst team in the EC. Not sure what 'stacked' means to that poster, but that Nets team sans Durant and Irving ain't it.
I've never seen a player(maybe besides Lebron) where people try so hard to distort history to make him look worse.
Ty Lue would never stay around for a rebuild. Depending on how you feel about Harden, we might still have him. But then again we would also still have Westbrook. So....YMMV
The power of the media, ladies and gentlemen. All you have to do is create the narritive, and you've already won. I'm sure the media could turn America into Hotel Rawanda in a week if they tried.
Im not really talking about the media I'm talking that idiots on here(and in the general public) who just dont remember context of their own team with their own players just so they can hate on someone.
if you are injured you shoot midrange not 3s.... its also easier on the body than layups.... last night yanis went to midrange and won the game in crunch time.... harden went to dumbalytics and lost
Jazz gonna get blown up. Can’t run that **** back and pretend things will change. Easy answer is move on from Snyder but nah, that team has hit its ceiling. Trade Rudy? Dude’s on a max deal. Donovan really a #1 guy?
Jazz are the definition of fools gold. They been running it back for some time now. It doesn't matter how many DPOYs Gobert wins, he is useless come playoff time.
Like, for all of the great defense Gobert provides, can it be done (done = win the championship) in today's NBA where your 2nd best player is defensive anchor/center? The past 10 champions did not feature a single center as its 2nd best player that had offensive limitations. Milwaukee: Lopez was maybe 3rd or 4th on the totem pole depending on whether Jrue had an off night LA: AD is a two-way big Toronto: Nope Warriors: If you want to use Draymond here that's fine but he obviously plays both ends of the floor Cleveland: I actually had to look up to see who was playing center for them. Tristan and Mozgov? Nope Spurs: Nope So...can it be done? I think the last time we saw an instance where a team actually even got to an NBA Finals where its second best player was a defensive-minded center was, probably, the 2004 Pistons with Ben Wallace? Or the 2001 Sixers with Mutombo playing out of his mind?
