    How is he a cuckold?

He and his wife were separated when Jada was seeing someone else.

He isn't really a cuckold even in the sexual sense really.

Is he a weak man? Well he was a weak man on the night of the Oscars, he lacked self control.... but I am not ready to label him a perpetually weak man.... I don't think his relationship with Jada makes him a weak man and I am also not assuming that his wife is abusive either.

Oh I'm sure he knew all about the entanglement behind the scenes. Perhaps you're right; he didn't have to sit there and take that kind of undressing for the world to see. I don't know what purpose it served (much like the slap) though...at best it makes everyone sympathize with Will? But, at worst, well...we saw what the worst looked like.

I can see that. I mean, you're right, at the end of the day he knew what he was getting when he married Jada and that meant taking the good (the extramarital excursions) as well as the bad (the lack of ego feeding). Everything Smith has done has been well calculated--the guy IS smart. There's a reason why he got accepted to MIT. That being said, maybe that whole undressing on Red Table Talk was calculated by him but he misread the public reactions. That's also another reason why I thought The Slap could have been staged--Will is just as crafty and egotistical in crafting his image as the next big star, like Tom Cruise or Dwayne Johnson.

Well, based on the definition of the word. A cuckold is a man whose wife is sexually unfaithful

Also, Jada sleeping with her son's friend wasn't a one off, MANY MANY men have slept with Will Smith's wife....she's made a cuck out of him time and time again. She further emasculated him by wanting the world to know what she had done, and that he was fine with it....and that he's got no say one way or the other who she decides to sleep with.

....then she further emasculated him by circulating stories about how he was scared of 5'7 fake gangster Tupac and she had to beg Tupac not to beat him up.

They have an obscenely toxic relationship with her constantly humiliating him.....which is in theory fine if that's what gets him off.....but it leads to him lashing out at damn near 60 year old comedians who are half his size for jokes he laughs at, that's no longer okay.

Sure, that's a solid example....I've disliked Trump since before it was trendy to do so. He was trash back in the 80's too, but back then he was adored by the same people who so viscerally hate him today.

That said, let's not D&D up the hangout. There's a whole forum dedicated to mindlessly flinging poo on the behalf of partisan masters.

They supposedly have an open relationship and he has slept with a number of women as well. So is that really being a cuckold?

Also, she is right, only she decides who she sleeps with..... that is true or every person on this planet. Even in marriage no one decides who we sleep with other than ourselves. We may choose not to sleep with someone because those are the boundaries of out relationship agreed upon or because we do not want to.

I don't know anything about her releasing stories about Tupac. I know that Will Smith in his own autobiography said that he was insecure around Tupac and that he was jealous of their friendship.

Yeah, I don't see her constantly humiliating him but I really don't follow it that closely to be honest. If he got off on being constantly humiliated I don't think he would be lashing out. What he did at the Oscars was wrong and he needs to either break up with her or work out his problems.

This is exactly how I saw it play out too. I really think he wanted to say something like "well she should probably keep other men out of her mouth too," but realized although that would have gotten a cheap laugh or two (my joke btw, haha), it would have done more hard than good, so it wasn't worth it.

The basketball great also dismissed those who’ve “romanticized Smith’s actions as that of a loving husband defending his wife.”

“Actually, it was the opposite. Smith’s slap was also a slap to women. If Rock had physically attacked Pinkett Smith, Smith’s intervention would have been welcome,” he wrote. “But by hitting Rock, he announced that his wife was incapable of defending herself — against words. From everything I’d seen of Pinkett Smith over the years, she’s a very capable, tough, smart woman who can single-handedly take on a lame joke at the Academy Awards show.”

That’s a toxic ducking relationship. I’ve dated countless girls and a couple times early on in my 20s I’ve stayed in when I shoulda gone out and that crazy emotional roller coaster is what you get. Women are crazy manipulative and innocent dudes “wanting to defend honor” etc are their fuel. Had countless friends I’ve advised too and they all end up like simp will smiths

I find it bizarre that Jada and Will have film and TV experience with Chris Rock. Yet, they can’t handle his jokes? Jada and Chris made and promoted a film together. Was there a falling out privately we don’t know about? If they didn’t know each other at least fairly well, then I could understand it better. It’s just so odd. They know him. They know what he’s about!

Whatever the relationship between Jada and Will, whether or not Will Smith was laughing or not, all the side and subplots....none of that matters.

He went on stage and struck a performer. He should be banned from the Academy. That's it. None of us could get away with something like that at our jobs! It's ridiculous anyone is defending him or justifying his behavior at all. Or saying it's understandable. BS.

Jada has always been a militant angry black woman and I saw Will's personality change as soon as that relationship began.

It's a shame because he could get another hot D-list actress in an instant.

Jada gave Will the Blue Steel look and his programming kicked in. Must...protect...Jada...from words. I, robot.

I didn’t like how Jada appeared to carry herself. She played the silent victim well. Didn’t do a damn thing except not take a joke well at all. This...after all her alopecia videos claiming she was over it. Obviously, she’s not. Queen Jada is displeased.
