I wish they would give Craig somebody more in line with his personality, so his attempts at banter didn't constantly fall flat. Ryan is so awkward when he's not talking basketball, but I doubt they will move on from Ryan.

Try this: Ryan Hollins and Caleigh Griffin trade roles.

CG is so talented. She'll be on ESPN or another national network one day without a doubt.

It's not to the point where I am switching over announcers on League Pass like whenever Drexler was on. Hopefully he develops better chemistry with CA and just acts/feels more authentic.

Hollins offers nothing insightful. I don't need to hear his stories of how back in the day he'd have these battles with some scrub from another team. He says obvious things in a really cheerful voice. That's not color, it's noise.

He can be cheesy and overly homerish even though he’s not from here

Honestly it’s CA that annoys me, he’s kinda odd and I’d rather not listen to him

    I'm still stuck at Meh.

And I hate it when he tries to say lackadaisical and says laXasasical ...

As dry and boring as Clyde was I miss him more than Bull.

I like Ryan, but I kinda get the impression that he and Ackerman don’t get along. They don’t have good chemistry or something. Ackerman seems irritated with him a lot of the time.

After listening to other commenters in the league overall I think he's good. He's definitely better than Bull and Clyde were honestly.

I was thinking this as well. CA seems to put up with him because he has to.

I like how Hollins is all in with the fans. He’s very active with the fan base on Twitter. Just not sure how I feel about him doing color. I’m willing to let it ride another season to see if things get better.

Exactly. Maybe their chemistry will improve with time...

Maybe but I bet Caleigh Griffin and CA would have better chemistry much faster. Hollins and CA really dont jive well IMO. I've felt the annoyance of Ackerman towards Hollins a few times

I agree. Griffin will eventually be working nationally later in her career. She has quality takes and good timing.

Hollins is good, but needs more reps to consistently be authentic. He should limit " When ... good things happen" to once per game max.

"Laxadaisical" needs to go as well.

    CA is an odd guy.

That being the case, Hollins and CA as an "odd couple" pairing are getting better with time.

    Overall, it's trending upward.

If he says that’s Stephen Silas Basketball one more time, he should be fired. Just once after the 50th point in the paint, I’d like to hear that’s Stephen Silas Basketball.
