I like Van Latham a lot. but if he got upset about that he is doing it wrong. But he is of a certain age that has to be upset about a lot of trivial ****. Edit. Ok that was not Van saying that, just commenting on it. My bad.
End of day both Smith and Rock had regrets. Rock shouldn’t have said the joke, Will should have reacted differently. No doubt Will and Jada's relationship stuff was embarrassing for both of them, but mainly for Will. I think he has spent a lot of time trying to cope with that entire ordeal, on many levels. First is the public's perception of him, and all of the jokes that has been made about him. Second is his standing with Jada, and how he doesn't feel comfortable in his place with her. If a woman, your wife, cheats on you in your own house, you can never look at her or the relationship the same. Probably, as Will was walking up to Rock and about to slap him, he was letting go of frustration, he snapped, that's it, but I don't think it was solely due to this joke. It was due to everything that has happened with him, Jada, and the public. He was sick and tired of all the jokes that people have said about him and his family. It was a culmination of it all. He probably felt emasculated, and nothing is more "manly" than getting physical with another person if you felt like he disrespected you and your family.
LOL Amazon Prime and Peacock got the whole Def Comedy Jam show but I'm not sure if they included the original music with Kid Capri and the break dancing segments in between the show. For those that bought the garbage dvd from Time Life, they edited that **** out, WTF?
