It was bad timing playing Portland B2B. Clutch’s strategy is a real world strategy that is EXACTLY what we should be doing. Also, yes we can sit players down the stretch to play rookies. Competent teams who are not in contention do that. It’s how you properly run a rebuild. if we want the same thing, we should be playing the youngsters from here on out (and in Portland)… the problem is we are not. Silas and co. Are going to try and gain meaningless wins and “momentum” for next year and could cost us a franchise cornerstone.
Lmao, its probably too late.... Everyone is pretty much shutting it down for the season.... The teams not in the playoffs are looking for a high draft pick and those in are resting their starters..... This was suppose to be done before Portland... I hate Silas....
Pretty easily. You go to the vets and say we are mathematically eliminated from the play in and we want to get a look at Nix, Christopher, and Garuba. They play the positions of Wood, Gordon, and Schroeder. Even if we had the bottom record locked up it would make sense to shut down the vets and let our 3 rookies get heavy minutes.
Looking at all the schedules it looks like this to me: Detroit Orlando Houston Okl City. I think Houston wins both games against SAC and loses the rest. Detroit will lose out as will Orlando. Gives us the same odds at no. 1, but makes our floor 6. If we end up 6 and Keegan is gone, I take Sharpe or try and trade for a legit PF using the pick, and any or all of Wood, Gordon, Tate, KPJ, bkln pick.
Lol what does that prove? And how does that effect the current state of those teams considering it isn't the same front office anymore? Keep throwing **** against the wall and seeing what sticks.
Keep your irrational Rockets hate to yourself. You should be intelligent enough to know that if even if the Rockets get last place, they may still get a pick 1-5. Or maybe you aren't intelligent enough.
Thunder play the pistons so thankfully someone has to win. OkC gets the shitshow that is the Blazers twice as well.
Everyone getting mad at Stephen Silas should be mad at Stone..... The coach is going to play to win, it is up to the GM to step in and tell the head coach who is and isn't playing.... It is yet another example of how this organization isn't all on the same page and is largely rudderless.
