Poll: Republicans Beat Democrats among Hispanics, at 27 Percent among Black Voters

There is a lot of grim news for President Biden and Democrats in the latest Wall Street Journal poll (Cliff Notes version is that while more Americans approve of his handling of Ukraine, they give him low marks for his handling of other issues more important to them, particularly inflation). But I just wanted to take a moment to flag this part of the poll, which is remarkable and not something I can recall ever seeing before:

The survey also found Republicans making gains among minority groups. By 9 percentage points, Hispanic voters in the new poll said they would back a Republican candidate for Congress over a Democrat. The two parties had been tied among Hispanic voters in the Journal’s survey in November.

Democratic margins also eroded among Black voters, who favored a Democrat for Congress by 35 percentage points in the new survey, down from 56 points in November. Support for a Republican candidate rose to 27% among Black voters, up from 12% in November.

It’s fair to say that if these numbers are anywhere close to the actual results, Democrats will be massacred in November.

Apparently the Democrat left's very central "Demographics is destiny" doctrine was just another 'Big Lie'.

And a pretty easy one to spot, on top of that.

It doesn't really matter when you look behind the curtain. The true power brokers are all about one color: Green.

But the public facing, 'fake' issues that each party espouses skew pretty heavily towards differing demographics.

From NBC. Keep in mind, when they use the term "disinformation," that means any information that is not supportive of the Democrat left narrative.

'Defcon 1 moment': New Spanish-language conservative network fuels fresh Dem fears over disinfo, Latino outreach

Pollster Fernand Amandi, a Miami-based consultant who oversaw Barack Obama’s successful national Hispanic outreach, fretted that Americano could be a success — at least politically — even if it doesn’t spread falsehoods or conspiracies.

“For those concerned about the disinformation problem harming Democrats' chances with Hispanics, this is a Defcon 1 moment. We should worry,” Amandi said. “The Democrats’ response to all of this Hispanic outreach from Republicans — whether it's disinformation or conventional campaigning — is to do the bare minimum. Unfortunately, some Democrats are deluding themselves. The ultimate act of disinformation is to pretend that this is not a big problem.”

Democratic consultant Evelyn Pérez-Verdía, who first sounded the alarm about the proliferation of Spanish-language disinformation and conspiracy theories in WhatsApp chat groups and on websites in 2020, called the launch of the network “concerning” amid what she says is a fresh wave of false or misleading information ahead of the midterm elections.

President Trump very eloquently laid out the parameters of the upcoming election at a rally in Georgia where he endorse David Purdue for governor against the current incumbent Republican Governor, Brian Kemp:

Sounding ever more a candidate seeking the White House again, former President Donald Trump on Saturday night attacked Democrats as a party of “socialists and communists” so extreme that they chose a Supreme Court nominee who “can't even say what a woman is.”

“A party that's unwilling to admit that men and women are biologically different in defiance of all scientific and human history is a party that should not be anywhere near the levers of power in the United States," Trump told a raucous rally in rural Georgia.

"The left has become so extreme that we now have a justice being nominated to the Supreme Court who testified under oath that she could not say what a woman is," Trump ssid. "If she can't even say what a woman is. How on earth can she be trusted to say what the Constitution is?"

That was very well said and the Democrats do not have an effective response to any of that.

If the Democratic party is full of communists, why are they against Russia's invasion of the Ukraine, yet notable Republicans either implicitly support him or refuse to criticize him?

Saw laughable. First, his admiring support of trump ("eloquently" and "very well said"). Then sourcing the "justthenews" as a source, a pathetic news source started by john soloman, whose career of fake journalism and blind support of trump is just as laughable as mojoman.

Then the eloquent statements by trump himself... the same lame accusations of socialism and communists (never mind they are two different economic philosophies, neither of which trump understands). Added to the false accusation about Judge Jackson.

Perhaps most laughable of all... the rally itself. trump's rallies are attracting fewer and fewer people. Reports are that fewer than 5,000 people attended. So while trump continues to lead the race for the republican nomination, fewer people are interested in what he says. Only his most diehard supporters. Like mojoman...

The Democrats certainly have much to worry about going into the midterms but if the Republicans are going to eat their own in bitter primary battles that will benefit the Democrats.

Citing Trump endorsing an opponent of the current governor of GA isn't a sign of strength but more a sign of how divided the Republican party is.

And most notable of all... the division is "those that trump thinks support trump" versus "those that don't"
