This is a perfect breakdown for all of the people in the GARM who don’t understand or prefer tanking. Period. Would rep if could 100 times. The front office is clearly incompetent for allowing Silas to try and win meaningless games for his coaching stats. Inexcusable.
How do you know the front office is allowing Silas to try and win meaningless games for his coaching stats? Or is that what we're running with nowadays because none of us have a clue what they're thinking behind closed doors? lol.
The FO is allowing Silas to win because they have the ability to shut down players and aren't. Instead they are enabling Silas to rack up meaningless wins. There is 0 question the FO isn't doing enough. They should be mandating minutes to young guys and if that leads to wins then it does. Garuba getting DNP is ****ing insane.
Detroit isn't really tanking tbh, they are allowing the youngsters to learn on the fly while sitting out Grant because that's what you do at the end of a lost season, not try to build ****ing momentum for 7 months from now. Simply Idiotic playing Garrison Matthews, Eric Gordon and Dennis Schröder. OKC is tanking. They should be fined they are tanking so hard. Portland is tanking too late but early enough to **** us this weekend.
Yeah, but Detroit's been playing well for a while. They just happen to play close games and.... lose. That's a perfect scenario to me. lol. Also interesting to see what a change of scenery has done for Marvin Bagley III. They've got an ideal scenario.... they seem like they're playing really well. They've got Bagley, who could be a steal, playing well. And they've got their chuck-it-up-though-I'm-not-shooting-well Luka-lite PG in Cade improving and taking over the offense (or so it seems, anyway) while preserving their lottery chances.
Stone and Silas should have shut down the vets last week. There is ZERO point playing ANY of the vets at this stage. Stone and Silas are proving to be the dumbass neophytes I've feared from the very beginning. I wonder if either even has a plan.
I'm not surprised if the organization decides to just win out and let the chips fall where they may. I actually feel we have a team good enough to play .500 ball for a spell so they've already exceeding losing expectations to get a top pick.
This hellspawn of a season better result in #1 pick. Any other result and Stone just proves his incompetence.
I guess a television or access to a box score somewhere? Luckily they play the Thunder 2x in the next week. Hopefully they keep it up. We need Thunder to win those 2 and then lose to Detroit.
Chill dude he was just asking This is a good video explaining what they've been doing over the last month or so https://youtu.be/TrailBlazers-Master-Plan/78EU
if we have a bad pick i'll just cope with the fact that we got jalen green last year. there's a dark timeline where we lost our pick to OKC and they become a dynasty.
We sat Wall for the entire season and went on terrible losing streaks throughout the year. Just poor timing with the schedule and actually being healthy. Lets see how the season plays out.
