Bringing up past post acting like I have a vendetta against mills.

My stance was always draft a fking franchise qb if folks are saying mills look like fking savage hoyer and mallet.

That is not defending Watson no.matter how.much u want to spin it. Jeez christ.

No one is saying he looks like them except for you and a couple others.
Mills is widely lauded as having upside by real scouts and people that do this for a living.
His highlights are as good as any QB in the league. His lowlights are as bad.

You’re writing him off before he gets a chance.

There is literally not one person on this board that has said to give him multiple years. He has earned this year to prove if his end of year progression translates.
He is physically gifted, more so than the QB prospects in 23. But for some reason you want to waste draft capital on more QBs now instead of seeing what we have.

It just proves you’re a hypocrite and as inconsistent as it gets. You’ve been proven wrong multiple times now.

And I’d rather be a Mills only fan than be any type of fan of Watson. You’re a scumbag like him

What have I been proven wrong?

U accused me of comparing him to the likes of savage, mallet and hoyer. I proved u wrong. I was not the first and I stated my stance. If he fking looks like another Savage lookalike, draft another one.

My stance was generally draft more qbs until we find a franchise qb cause the comparison of the sht qbs we had is a waste of time.

Wanting a fking franchise qb isn't a bad thing.

U just get triggered cause I want to replace mills.

Any one wanting a franchise qb is now a Watson defender now

Wow. Can you not see you have just proven me right with this post?
So you do want to get rid of him and draft more QBs now because you think Mills is like Savage/Mallett.

You have literally just contradicted your entire argument. You are not a smart person. I actually feel sorry for you now.

Don’t change now, you’re a Watson defender because you keep defending him.

If Mills put up 3900 yds, 26/10 TDs 68% and 98 passer rating which is lower than his last 5 games, he’s your franchise QB.

Damn are you are defending Watson against these women now? Also defending Kobe?

I think your priorities and morals are all kinds of jacked up. This is like defending OJ Simpson.

Not to interrupt this pi$$ing match but I'm going to give my thoughts.

No one on this board knows what Mills is going to do this year. But regardless we are not going to the Super Bowl.

I might be in the minority but, I think we have to draft a stud OL with the first pick. I'm not impressed with the QB class this year. So if you draft a QB I'm afraid there is going to be some Carr 2.0 going on. Shell-shocked, and destroyed before its time. Mahomes would not have got this team to the playoffs last year.

Set a QB up for success. With the draft capital this year and next. Keep the D off the field for 45 minutes a game and diversify the offense with some running game and see how things work out.
If Mills fails there will be one better to draft than this year pick.

Please resume your argument, but give me 10 minutes to make some popcorn.

Here’s the thing that got me feeling strong on Mills because early on I wasn’t …as evidenced by my comments in game threads early..so my former co-worker/ current friend was a old school Colts fan and towards the end of the season I was mentioning how Mills looked and he said dude he reminds me of Peyton Manning ..,I was no way, come on but he had a point about how composed Mills was in the pocket and how Manning had that . So I looked closer after the discussion

of course Manning didn’t have his best year in his first year (only 233.7 yds per game and a whopping 26 INT) but he had a pretty solid career by most accounts …in fact by the law of averages when you look at the typical Peyton Manning season it translates to 4231 yds passing, ( an average of 248.8 yds per game, avg. 1.98 TDs per game ) 31.7 TDs with 14.7 INT .., these are numbers that Davis Mills averaged in his last 5 games plus his completion percentage, QB rating and red zone efficiency was highly effective …He was very consistent in his progression and arguably played like a top ten QB in his last 5 games…is he Peyton Manning? Of course not but he is Davis Mills and in terms of comparing apples with apples, he’s off to a promising start and it’s his opportunity…personally I cannot wait for the season and the upgrades at other positions to see what happens ..

Absolutely agree. Davis Mills had a statistically fantastic year for a rookie and did it all with basically no weapons to speak of and a team that was in a tailspin off the field. Imagine if this guy had a respectable o-line, a running game, and a couple of pass catching weapons. Cooks was serviceable on the 2021 offense, but there were no other WRs, TEs or RBs that were even league-average, much less good. Mills with some weapons might be fun to watch.
