You saying you can't find talent that isn't accused of sexual assault, domestic violence, rape, use of performance enhancing drugs, or violence off the field? We can build a good team without those thugs.

It's hard to compare Watson to Mills realistically since Watson had way more college experience before even entering the league. He had a huge head start as a rookie.

It's also hard to compare the two when Watson had Fuller and Hopkins to throw to. Nobody on our team has that speed or talent. Hopkins is 2 tiers above anyone on this team. Hopefully we can get him some star receivers to add to his targets.

Sure, it's way to early to tell how Mills will develop because he is so green. It's also too early to say he will just be another Mallet, Hoyer, Osweiller, or Savage down the road.

Keep the faith, and don't start the season waiting to jump on his every mistake.

Ideally u can build a good team without any bad apples, so why haven't we? Literally 20+ years furthest we got was a wild card win.

Qb Is the most important position where u really need a franchise type especially when talent is lacking all over the place.

Sure. Like I said, he needs to shine if not we draft another qb until we hit one. I do not want to waste time.
Realistically how many years will it take for u to assess mills?

Will see how he does this year. If he gets better and better I don't see dumping him with all our future draft picks, but I see drafting a first round pick QB to develop next year for Mills to compete with if a great looking prospect is there for us to grab.

As for this year, I want to see offensive linemen first, then a stud defensive threat and a great RB in the second round. Add some wide receivers and cornerbacks after that. Sign a veteran stud wide receiver and cornerback, or give up a next year pick for them if needed.

Literally not one person has said give him multiple years.
You’re writing him off before he even starts, comparing him to Mallett and Savage.
    You’re a joke

    Fking get your fact straight.

    1. It's about to b year 2 of the mills experience.
    2. I wasn't the first person comparing him to Savage, hell i never even said he look like savage when he first played. I said if folks r seeing another Savage, hoyer and mallet in mills, we fking move on and draft another qb.

I been fking consistent with my stance. I do not want another fking mallet, hoyer or Savage. Draft more franchise qbs.

This is his first year as a starter, getting starter reps in camp and a whole season.
First year as a starter. Your comprehension skills are as weak as your literary skills

And you’re a ******* liar too, you’ve said multiple times you don’t want another Savage/Maller/Hoyer.
Mills is nothing like any of them, you r****d.

Due to the lack of good QB options in this year's draft, I'm looking forward to seeing whether Davis Mills has what it takes this year. I don't think he does, but it'll be interesting nevertheless. 2023 we'll have the chance to get CJ Stroud. Oh and by the way, fun fact. Stroud is represented by David Mulugheta. Athletes First! It'll be the most Texans thing ever for them to avoid the top QB in the draft simply because of the agent...lol.

Nah man, we’ve been over this. You keep comparing him to those players to denigrate Mills.
Don’t move the goalposts now, I’ve said from the beginning if he puts up those numbers he deserves a chance. You’ve said wins and numbers have to be involved, you give Watson the benefit of the doubt but not Mills.
    You’re a hypocrite

No you just can’t get your head out of Watsons oily ass long enough to comprehend a simple train of thought.
    Be better

Stroud still has a lot to prove. He’s an Ohio St QB, the next good pro from there will be the first.

This was my first post on this thread and that was in response to another poster.

Gotta stop trying to spin it like I was already comparing him to the likes of sht qbs we had

One post doesn’t make up for multiple posts comparing him to below average back ups with no physical talent.

It fkis up your narrative that I was comparing him to the likes of sht qbs b4 he even started. Cause I never fking did until recently

Look up my entire post on this thread. Pretty consistent, if he gives the vibes of the sht qbs we had, draft another qb for him to contest.

If he does what he did the last 5-6 games of last season he’s a franchise QB.

You are never consistent unless you’re defending Watson

Asking to draft another qb instead of having another Savage, hoyer, mallet qb isn't fking defend Watson u dumb fk. It's wanting to have a legit franchise qb so we can actually win.

U acting like I was the first and only person to say he looks like those sht qbs we had.
