The coming out of highschool circuit where Jalen Green was rated #1 You know, which included Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Scottie Barnes, and probably Chet Holmgren, Banchero, Patrick Baldwin at the time because they were also, well in highschool. describes, "Alpha"
Yeah I don't get why Jalen Green was sitting on the bench in the 4th while Wood was out there with 5 minutes remaining in the game? Bruno Fernando could've had greater minutes there in the 4th
I feel like we suffered through an awful season with the hopes of being rewarded with at worst a top 5 draft pick and we are in danger of winning games that hurt the long term outlook of this team for nothing. I watched a lot of bad basketball feeling like it would all be worth the suffering come draft day. I’m worried.
I get sexually aroused just thinking about how much Jalen is going to grow and flourish with a real head coach and offensive scheme.
Maybe its just me but his transition from dribbling to shooting release has gotten faster. His shot looks alot more smoother to with a higher release point. If he can develop a jump shot like mj where he gets in the air and then releases the ****, no one would be able to stop it. I think players prefer to create seperation now with the step back but most players can't jump like him
Even a few of his misses were impressive last night. That one turnaround where he stopped on a dime and faded away. There was so much separation that he got there. That will be an easy shot for him that I would expect he converts at a high clip. Then that one time where he had to beat the clock on a rushed three pointer. It still almost went in. Reminds me of Kobe where he would get dangerously close to making wild shots crazy difficulty shots.
Not keeping Allen was a HUGE mistake. Stone is lucky Dipo turned down the extension or it would have been an even worse disaster.
I didn't watch last night's game so this is the first time at 2:30 I've seen this missed attempt by Green. His ball handing here is getting much tighter from the start of the season and that separation and J looks so effortless. He's going to make a lot of those shots in late shot clock situations in his career. This is why he has such a high potential to be a superstar level clutch player. Ball needs to be in his hands in late game and shot clock situations starting from next season consistently.
