With at least 2 if not 3 BOGUS fouls hampering and finally eliminating him as well!

I still remember when Clutch didn't want Sengun.

I had Kessler above Williams for a while, but Williams is so much quicker. I may give the edge to Williams.

If you look at the teams 2 thru 8, none of them are really FA destinations. They are all mid market teams who struggle to acquire and keep top tier talent, particularly in FA. Aside from Detroit, I could see any of those teams being willing to trade their pick for a 20/10 big man who shoots 40% from 3.

If any of Orlando, OKC, Sacramento, Indiana, Portland, and maybe even San Antonio land outside the top 4, I think that pick can be had for Wood or Wood and some asset.

This is what I was thinking too.

    BUT…

Then I also think about all the times I saw him not even be able to get the ball while posting up because he wasn’t strong enough to seal his man. Then he was bullied by smaller players on the perimeter at times and struggled getting the ball up there too.

Ok well what about when he did get the ball in his hands? When he put the ball on the floor in the 3 tournament games I watched, he really struggled to create any separation and get his own shot. He got bumped off of his dribble a lot and ended up picking it up and passing it more often than not.

Then I thought he’d be a knockdown shooter and that never really played out either. Overall, he didn’t impress me on offense at all.

Defensively even though he got pushed around here and there, he rebounded and blocked shots as I expected, but I do wonder now about his ability to play the 4 in the NBA and guard on the perimeter. The thing that excited me most was the idea of pairing another skilled big with Sengun in a starting lineup. A big that could shore up the defense. Sengun would need a massive body transformation himself to be able to slide over and play the 4.

I’m going to watch some more videos soon, but what I saw in the tournament was not inspiring and didn’t excite me the way I hoped it would. Not going to lie.

I agree with this assessment. the defense is bankable, but the offense is a question mark. I'm not sure its worth the #1 pick on a guy who might struggle to score, even if he's got DPOY potential. jabari is similar. you can bank on his defense and elite shooting. but without being able to finish at the rim, or create for himself, I don't know if he projects as an all star or a high end 3&D starter.

I think he and chet have the ability to improve on offense. Chet's shown flashes of being able to shoot, dribble and pass. jabari will figure out how to put the ball on the floor after teams start running him off the line. but I'm not sure he'll ever be a play initiator.

I really do appreciate the "give him the ball and get out of the way" you get with banchero and Ivey which is typical of a top pick.

I think my decision comes down to who we draft in the top 5. if we get Paolo, I want Williams. if we get jabari, I want Kessler... just for the vibes.

    Same...

His lack of strength was really on display in the tourney and I would've like to see more offense from him.

But he did shoot the ball well all year so I think he will be fine there.

He is going to have to put on a lot of muscle weight over the next couple of years to reach his full potential.

I like seeing actual critique of his game that isn't "I HATE WHITE PEOPLE" ala: JR.

Very similar to Jo Chee. He never took questions from the media.

If duke continues to be soft, they’re going to get run out of the building. That would be pathetic for coach k’s last stand
