    Sounds like a nothing burger. Just another big company trying to appease a handful of people who want their employer to agree with them politically. Disney probably has a lot more liberal employees on average than most. Same with Starbucks and all the other big corps that roped into culture war circlejerking.

    My issue with the right wing framing of this is the fact you can "groom kids" to be LGBTQ.

    If you think you can do that...

    News flash, you might be bisexual which is totally fine btw.

    It's kinda messed up to have the kneejerk reaction of "OMG DILDOS AND BUTTSEX EVERYWHERE" whenever I'm guessing that the result of all of this is going to just be more visible representation of gay/queer folks in their media.

    This is much more than appeasing employees, this would really hurt Disneys bottom line if the LGBTQ stopped supporting them and they got cancelled.

    It's amazing you think this was just about appeasing employees.

    IMO these two things are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they're a lot closer to mutually inclusive.

    But, I'm fairly certain that a company as large as Disney could shrug this off if they wanted.

    After all, forming a "task force" is basically code for smoke and noise while basically doing nothing.

    You used a lot of words to say nothing.

    Disney very specifically caters to the LGBT lifestyle so for them to be silent about this hurts a lot.

    Yeah they could shrug this off but why would they hurt their bottom line, what is your point anyway.

    As usual you really don't have one and just want to pontificate as usual and make believe you are intellectually above this.

    The fact that they are no longer silent is doing something that their employees wanted them to do, so once again you are wrong.
