2nd worst team can drop all the way to the 6th so yeah thats def a concern. Pistons only 1 win above Rox rn. How dumb is it to tank most of the season, get all the bad juju that comes with losing and then miss out on the 1st pick due to meaningless wins at the end of the season?
Worried for nothing. There’s always an overreaction having 1 fluke win in 20 games. Folks are still under the impression they haven’t been trying to win all along. They just suck in reality. Nothings changed. They’ll be lucky to go 2-8 in these last 10 games
Fluke or not. The records of the team only takes another “fluke” or two and then you have the 6 or 7th pick. Good for the Rockets though Wood hit some 3’s he is definitely the future piece to carry the rockets to a third championship he is Hakeem v 2.0.
People think rockets will win 1 or 2 games and then the other teams just lose out. Nah it doesn’t work that way.
Have the Rockets guaranteed Silas for next year? Maybe he feels like he needs to win games to prove his worth. Give him the vote of confidence so he can go with backups the rest of the way.
if this was the regular season i'd agree with you. but looking at this schedule, along with other team's motivations (whether it's a team resting vets to tank OR a team resting their stars to give them a break pre-playoffs) i'm worried.
What about the schedule. Rockets have been losing to these teams all year long. Dallas can rest Luka and they’re still 9 point favorites. They don’t need him to beat this team by a wide margin the magic literally just beat GS last night and no way the same cf’s all worried would think that would happen. Like I said worried for nothing

Not really. This is assuming Detroit and Magic are not trying, which they have proven in the past little while they are winning games as well. We were down 23 points to a crappy Wizards team missing many key players, it only took Wood hitting 100 3's to get us back to win it, not to mention he and KPJ literally just sulked the previous game and we got blown out by a Morant-less Grizzlies team. Again, we suck, we have sucked all season, there's really not much more you could ask for at this point.
The Rockets are playing much better than the Thunder and Pistons currently. About even with the Magic. It'll go down to the wire.
