I hear what you are saying. It does suck seeing him play like this. I do have to keep reminding myself that even this version of Harden is still a top 20 player in this league. Still an all-star. I honestly think this calf/hamstring injury is there still. The problem is at this point will it ever go away? I'm excited to see him in the playoffs this season. Last year in Brooklyn pre injury he was playing lights out.
What a great player he is. Read the comments, they're just praising him I laughted at this comment so should you. BREAKING NEWS: Harden requests trade to Milwaukee Bucks. Woj reports its the team he has always wanted to play for since the Rockets.
He's still also playing heavy minutes, even as a Net and 76er. Good convo all around though. I agree with the consensus that he's lost a step, not as explosive, hopefully it's an injury.
will we ever see jalen greens name on this list below https://www.basketball-reference.com/friv/mvp.html
Harden has a TS of 63 with the Sixers so far… he is scoring nearly 23 points a game on 13 shots and he has a 3:1 assist to turnover ratio since joining the Sixers….. he also has 10.5 assists and 7 rebounds a game and 1.5 steals. His numbers are largely down because his usage rate and number of shots are down. Also the Sixers primarily just want him healthy for the post season.
And your point being? Harden played with 2 HOF that had already been in the NBA and both shot the ball a lot. Context my guy, or are you wanting to say you think Green is going to be better than Harden? What's your point?
Just goes to show how truly brilliant Harden has been that 23/11/7 on 63TS% is somehow disappointing. And doing this on a brand-new team that has played a couple of years together. Really just think about it. This is not a call-out to anybody, I just find it kind of funny.
My point is Green can be better than Harden, we don't know what will happen in the future. The context is the other dude is saying Green will never better than Harden and I'm just saying it can still happen someday.
I think the problem is he so young It is hard to predict Like it or not . .. Harden is considered a top 50 all timer That is pretty rarified air I think LeBron was one of the only players to meet expectations when they were that high Rocket River
That's like me saying I could hook up with Ariana Grande. She has been known to hook up with not so attractive dudes and I've been known to punch well above my weight, but probability is about the same.
Is it me or does his shot look extremely ugly? Like it looks nothing like it normally does. Especially the step back.
Harden is cooked. Looks horrible and now he’s out with an injury. My bet is he’s done for the year basically. I think he is washed. I would run away from the idea of an extension if I was Morey. it’s not happening for him I don’t think. HP3 seems to have the same opinion. Like him, I’ve always been a Harden supporter. He’s not capable of being the best player on a title team anymore, to my eyes, watching him play the last couple weeks.
Back in the game right now. When I said done for the year I didn’t mean he wouldn’t play another minute, just that he’s clearly not right and I don’t think you get your legs or explosion back at the end of the season. maybe he’s not washed and the injury never healed itself right and he can get some back eventually, but I don’t see it happening at the end of a season and into the playoffs.
Maybe CP3 needs to convince him to go vegan this summer. No more steaks with A1 sauce. Honey buns should still be ok.
I mean, yeah, something is going to have to happen. I’d like to see him get a little vitamin S or some growth hormone in his diet, which is what I would bet “vegan” is probably code for with Chris Paul, as I’m pretty sure the NBA is full of PED’s but we shall see. He’s pretty clearly past the point in his life where he can roll out of the rack after partying all night and be a top 5 guy. He’s an incredibly high IQ basketball guy that works at his craft skill wise, so I’m not betting against him, but something has to change.
