So it went from draft night facial expression readings to why he wants a large market, to now a reported disconnect with the GM (not the market)
Why are you so insistent on moving the goalposts.
He’s played the same amount of games as Greg Oden, he’s fat, lazy, out of shape and has foot problems dating back to college.
You don’t trade valuable assets for that.

Atlanta and Boston are CERTAINLY big markets. Atlanta is in the pre-Golden State boom, they’re a sleeping giant. Phoenix is debatable. Washington certainly not

No, by your definition they are large market.
And no, Atlanta isn’t a large market.

I’m sorry I wasn’t aware some dude from the Australian league was such a valuable asset. The Pelicans would laugh us off the phone with the offer OP suggested

Dude, you’re so off it’s ridiculous.
You’ve flip flopped a number of times already. Didn’t realize Oden and Zion are identical games played. Move goalposts to fit your narrative.
Pretending to read zions face on draft night.

    What’s next?

There’s a reason the offer is low. Zion is damaged goods, washed.

So you go off Rachel Nichols opinion that Zion wasn’t happy?
Dude, stop speculating and making excuses.

Zion isn’t playing because he’s fat and hurt

I don’t go off of anyones opinions you god damn muppet. You make stupid statements like “you PRETEND to read his face..” when seemingly everyone else in the room, and those watching TV made the exact same assumption. Is that PRETENDING or is that coming to a logical conclusion? Am I going off what Rachel Nichols and ESPN said or am I a f*ing hippy? Which is it old man? Bless me with your great wisdom about big markets and something about imagination

    Huh?
No one said anything about the Rockets, and yes we’re **** right now. That has nothing to do with this maze you’ve went on.

First it’s Oden missed first season, but didn’t realize that it was 3 seasons.
Then you’re pretending like you knew what Zion was feeling like some psychic.
Then you can’t understand the hypocrisy of saying Washington isn’t a large market, when by the technical definition (over 2 mil) they are.

    Sports is relative you simpleton.

Zion is not worth anything right now. Desperate teams trade young talent and picks for him. Don’t be desperate.

The optics of a city, its lifestyle, and the money flowing in from other avenues also dictate whether or not you’re a free agent destination and a big market. A political town with little night life, no skyscrapers in sight contributes to your free agent destination argument. Miami, by comparison, has very glamorous optics with the night life, clubs, etc. And I’m not pretending to know what Zion wants, I learned what context clues are in the third grade and it’s easily applicable when you analyze what other stars have done to get out of their respective situations. I’m not arguing that he’s in good health, far from it, but I do think alot of his attitude and weight issues come from an area of not being content in New Orleans.

Are you saying New Orleans has no night life?

What are you even saying? You’ve moved the goalposts so damn much it’s ridiculous.

New Orleans has night life with hobos taking dumps on the sidewalk. Its not Miami night life brother.

Elaborating on an argument is not moving the goal posts for god sake. Are you incapable of absorbing new information? Does my entire argument need to be laid out in bullet point format for you next time? Do we need a moderator?

New Orleans night life is better than Houston’s. If that’s the deciding factor, NO wins.

I’ll say that with a yikes. Mardi Gras is cool, again, if you can get past the hobos with their wieners out
