liberals are the ones who promote mixed race blacks over full blooded black people. In their mind they can use the racist talking points that mixed race blacks get their ability to think the game from their white half. In their minds if you are dark, you have to be a high flyer like morant, or anthony edwards. Harden breaks that that racist talking point because he is a below the rim player who outthinks opposing coaches and players. Thats why i laugh when people compare harden to westbrick. Hardens basketball iq is miles better, hardens only real weakness is that he suffers from severe asthma and refuses to use inhalers

i havent seen people mention zion in months, simmons had a few segments but people are not hating on him. Harden locked up luka the other night and nobody in the media said anything. But they lose 1 game and they start talking about harden shooting too much. Harden cant win for losing, one minute they want him to pass, and then they want him to score. Its always a catch 22 with harden and the media

The media talks about whoever is worth talking about at the time. Harden trade just happened so obv there's gonna be a lot of scrutiny on him.

Only time will tell. I can tell you Green's rookie year blew Harden's out of the water.

Of course he has declined. That shouldn't even be in question. His age, usage and injuries have all taken there toll. But come on man let's not act like Harden is some scrub lol. He's still a very very good player.

    No, no, no

hardens impact stats as a rookie we’re miles better than jalen green

538 raptor had jalen as the worst player in the league in January. Haven’t checked back since then tho

harden as rookie joined a team that won less than 30 games the previous year. They add him then they immediately win 50 games his rookie year.

rookie highlights of harden are hard to find, but if harden was taken by the t wolves and asked to start right away, he would have been miles better than green, because for one harden spent 2 years in college and for 2 harden was just a better prospect

    rookie harden highlights

Cmon man look at his peers, KD, Lebron, Curry. All of them still where they are. He's the only one that's been laggin behind. And the worst part is he's younger than all of them.

Well first of all Green is a year younger than Harden so if you want a direct comparison Green's having a better year since he is already performing in the NBA while Harden was still in the NCAA. The only time you can compare Harden's rookie year is with Green's second year.

Secondly, OKC won 50 games but thats not due to Harden as Harden came off the bench as a rook and scored 9 ppg with 3 rebs and 1ast. OKC had a bunch of young studs Harden was anong them but he aint responsible for 30 game turnaround with his 9 pts and 1 ast gimme a break.

Third if Harden was the better prospect he would have been a 1 and done instead of joining the NBA as a sophomore. Thabeet got picked over him at least its Cade who came off the board before Green.

We usually agree lol but not here. I will give you KD but he's just a freak. I don't think Lebron at this point is anything great compared to Harden. His defense the last 4 years have just been atrocious plus the Lakers are awful and Lebron deserves some blame for that. Curry started off on fire but hasn't the 2nd half of the season been pretty sub-par?

I think the problem with Harden was that he was above elite for so long. 50 point triple doubles, 60 point triple doubles, 30ppg 9rebs 10asts per game. Just all around dominance. Now we see him at 22ppg, 8rebs,10asts and we think he's some washed out player compared to how he was in Houston. He's still very very good and his advanced numbers show that. I think he's even leading Phili on/off Netrtg and 4th quarter points. Like I said a few pages back he's going to age fine into this point Harden roll like CP3.

    Lebron is a freak.

KD and Harden have played pretty similar games and minutes over their careers even though KD has had 2 more years in the league.

Curry and Harden came into the league the same year and Harden has played over 100 more games than him.

And we know Harden partied a little harder than those guys.

Also I don’t think his fall from super duper stardom is as far as some might think.

Also that calf/hamstring is still a problem. You can see him favoring that leg and he has no lift on his shot or layups. This might now go away.

To be fair, KD and LeBron are always in the "best player in the NBA?" conversation, while Curry is an offensive juggernaut by himself. It'd be like comparing a wing who played in Jordan/Drexler's era to those two, or comparing a center in Hakeem/Shaq's era to those two.

Durant and Curry also had the benefit of playing with each other for a few years while, as another poster put it, LeBron is just a freak of nature.

Lebron is still amazing, his team is trash but he's very good and has been better than this version of Harden. So has Curry, and so has Durant. Yea Curry has been bad but he's still got that impact of a superstar, something James has been sorely lacking.

Cmon man, you arent talking to one of these idiot Harden haters on here. We all know he's still a pretty damn good player, but this version of him is very much worse than he has ever been. He may age fine....but like, that's not where he should really be. He's James Harden, one of the best offensive players ever and in the top 30 greatest players ever. For him to go out like this.....is just very sad. I hope its just the hamstring.

    Yes, Lebron is a freak.

KD looks like younger than Harden while being 2 years older, it still doesnt make sense to me man. I guess all these minutes have made him lose his stuff really early. But I dont know, I thought he would adjust as he got older. He just looks like hes sapped of life on the court and constantly tired out there.

Yea I know he's still very good but he's also been very bad for his standards. Like we all know he's still like a great offensive player but he's also being passed up by a lot of dudes who would never have been considered better than him last year.

So was James, to me at least. It's like you are just flat out saying "yea he's just a lesser player than they are." He was competing with these guys just a year ago. He played better than KD last year.

Yea, that's true. It's just weird to me that James just fell off the map this fast.

KD has been taken out of commission with serious injuries/minor injuries. Harden has put a sht ton of mileage forcing through injuries. The hammy was his first big one.

Haven't been watching harden play, but i still think he has enough in the tank to do make some noise in playoffs.
