Good wins: Citizen body slams shoplifter, then body slams his shoplifter backup

Good for him. Unfortunately, the thief he captured won't be prosecuted. In the old days, being convicted of petty theft after having been convicted of petty theft three times prior or having been convicted of a felony theft offense prior (auto theft, burglary, etc.) was a felony punishable by up to three years in prison. Now, you are lucky to put someone in jail for a few days on theft charges. Shockingly, this has resulted in an increase in brazen theft offenses. Now no one even bothers reporting them, so the stats even say theft is down. It's a joke.

 

I'm disappointed as I was hoping to see some Judo.

Will give props for Kevin for being civically minded but he's lucky those guys didn't have a gun or a knife especially the back up to the guy he's pinning. This is one reason why I tell people don't try to pin or hold someone down because you don't know who is coming up behind you. Kevin was lucky that guy didn't know what he was doing and just did a half assed technique.
