We had the 4th worst record and the 5th best odds that year.

 

I think people just want to secure a top pick. Worst team in the league probably wont get the #1 pick

 

At the moment, it's no longer about getting the #1 pick. Most people understand it's about not getting lower than the 5th pick if we can stay among the 3 worst teams now.

 

We only guarantee no lower than 5th if we have the WORST record, as you can fall no more than 4 slots.
"Among the 3 worst" just gets us the best odds of drawing the top pick (%14).

 

Most people understand that fate is not within their control.

Of course, but I'm referring to people stating things like "the 3 worst teams have the same odds of the 1st pick". Currently, the battle among the 3 worst teams is to not get worse than the 5th pick which is why everybody's cheering for the worst record.

Poetic, but so untrue in such absolute terms.

We win either way. Wood returns from planet woodmania; or if Wood can shoot 89% on threes the rest of his career we don’t need a top five pick.

 

Not the point, it's about probability odds. Even with the top pick we could slide to 5, I get it, but I would still like to increase odds over meaningless wins in our last 10 games after two absolutely horrendous seasons.

Im 44 years old. It's nice to be called a kid. Also I don't know anything about you and no I not going to read through your history to see what your stance has been historically to understand what the true intent of your message was. I am going to read a message and react to it as I see fit and that saves me even more time than using bc.

 

Yes, Jalen Green is the only player on this team who complains to the refs. No one else on this team complains to the refs, looks at the ref, or fails to run back on defense after a missed shot, just Jalen Green.

 

I wrote yesterday that you can win a game with Wood and one this games was last night against the Wizzards. Wood hit everything in the second half. He was on fire. Was funny to see this. But the Defense was unbelievable that was the key to win.
I think thats good news for the Rockets that Wood make games like that so you can get a lot of for him. I hope that KPJ make also some good games at the rest of the season.

 

Folks to this fkin day doesn't know how the draft probability position works. Go to fking tankathon and look. It got updated like a few years ago so don't b bringing up past old drafts like yao's
