We sucked so badly all year, all this hard work to get to this spot, and we're about to throw it away the last 10 games. We've done this before if anyone remembers once upon a time ago how we foolishly won meaningless games at the end of the season so we could end up with Shane Battier instead of Brandon Roy. @Clutch Could you imagine T-mac, Yao, and a Brandon Roy still with cartilage in his knees?
He’s been absolute trash. OKC is obviously tanking. He was playing terribly yesterday and the coach kept him in playing heavy minutes while benching one of their players that was playing well.
What a bunch of morons the Rockets are…..playing all their vets with 10 games to go!!! Losers get what they deserve and who knows what the f$&@ it takes for Loser Titta to fire a coach. Just a loser outfit since he’s taken over.
Gordon shouldn't play another game this season. There is absolutely no reason for it. And guys like Wood and Schroeder should only play against the good teams if at all. Time to let Nix and Garuba get some heavy minutes.
The Rockets desperately need quality front court help and this is the draft to get it. If this doesn’t work out the Rockets screwed themselves.
The goal should be to play our worst players the remaining games and lose by double digits game after game. The future is in jeopardy. I don't want mediocre years of bball over a few meaningless wins.
That 7 game win-streak was probably the worse thing to have possibly happened this season. The Rockets played primarily veterans or older players, beating up on mostly lottery teams, and now that the rookies are also beginning to contribute to winning, and the Rockets are in serious jeopardy of losing a good draft position. This same meaningless win streak that did not add value to our players (Armoni Brooks played big minutes during that streak and he's been flat out cut from the team) nor provide experience to our rookies. Those wins are supposed to be used as cushioning for when the rookies begin contributing positively to the team, like what has been happening lately.
Playing with a cartridge in your knee sounds pretty uncomfortable. Not to mention the annoyance of having to blow on them before every game.
We had to keep Wood and EG instead of trading them for picks, we had to keep Dennis instead of buying him out because because... because?
Stop freaking out guys, they’re just going to play the vets less as the schedule gets easier. Tanking shamelessly can get Silver on your case then you’re never winning a lottery. I have a feeling they will shut Wood and/or Gordon down for the remaining ten games.
That was actually a WIN. And one of the most historic 3P shooting nights in franchise history. Rockets are in no danger of losing the worst record in NBA any time soon.
The Rockets are morons. EG and Dennis will be gone next season, but we’ll have a heavy dose of the two to finish this one and drop us to the 6-8 pick range. Goodbye Blanchero, Smith, Ivey….hello AJ Griffin and 20 wins next year. Rockets and Texans are two of the dumbest franchises in sports.
Mr. Sheep here hasn’t obviously looked at our schedule which best case has us winning 4 more games and possibly 7 games. Easy peasy with multiple games at home against the Kings without their star and against a very weak Portland team. Expect a minimum 4 wins with all the vets playing which will drop us to 4th worst and 6-10 range in the draft.
