    He's developing some gravity and starting to create space for his teammates - he's getting more hockey assists

    I also think the team players harder when he is in the game. His hustle and electricity definitely is motivating. Gets the fans into the game (who clearly are excited to watch him play)

    I am happy for Wood the person, but Wood the Rocket NEEDS TO GO. Happy his trade value may have gone up.

    You really don't think that one meaningless game against the Wizards (without 2 of their top three players) will change people's minds about Wood, right?

    I just know that's not what's going on here.

    I mean gms know what wood is. It isn’t fans doing the evaluations. Wood can be a great role player on a very good team. Getting him to buy into that role is the tough part.

    I dont think so. It's too late. Wood scoring is not the problem. It's his defense and refusal to make his teammates better by setting a good screen and make an extra pass. Wood only dialed in when he sees his stats go up.

    Wood has to put up career numbers from 3 to get past how bad he is at everything else.
