The top 5 appears to be locked in with Chet, Jabari, Ivey, Banchero, and Griffin.

These are the names I’ve seen most in mock drafts within the 6-12 range. Curious to see who you guys would trade up for.

FYI - their ages shown above will be their age the night of the NBA draft.

If Ivey is the first pick for Houston I would love if they could move up for Murray using the BKN pick(s) + any combination of KPJ/Wood/Gordon/Tate

If Paolo/Jabari/Chet is the first pick for Houston I would love if they would use BKN pick on Jovic, Sochan, Brown or PBJ to replace Tate.

Murray is a bucket dawg, honestly, he might be a prospect to consider with our top pick if we fall outside the top 3

Bennedict. The more internationals the better.
Is this is even a real High School? 'NBA Academy Latin America' that's where this Canadian attended.

Jabari/Chet + Mathurin would be an amazing draft

And the rockets are going to trade up in that range exactly how?

If the Rockets could somehow land TyTy Washington in addition to whichever big they take with their first pick (Smith or Holmgren) it would be an absolute coup!

Portland is the only one right now I can think of them wanting some immediate help for Dame. Wood+Gordon+your Brooklyn pick and take back a player.

I believe they're going full rebuild, and Dame will be gone sooner rather than later. Doesn't really make sense for them to pass up on the guys available this draft in that case

I don’t think there’s anyone worth trading up to get past #6 so I’d much rather roll the 2022 Brooklyn pick into a package for a future draft pick or a young promising player. However, if we could somehow use the Brooklyn pick and other assets to get to #6 to pick Mathurin, I think it would be worth it. Honestly not high on anyone other than the 3 bigs, Ivey and Mathurin. I think there are some good players like EJ Ladell that are worth considering later in the 1st, but I think it really drops off after picks 5 or 6. Much weaker draft than last year.

Wood, Tate, this year’s BKN pick, the 2023 MIL pick. We have plenty of assets to trade and move up.

none of that is getting portland to give up their spot in the draft. the assets are limited, much of which doesn't make sense for portland at all

Wood + Tate + #16 is definitely comparable to Jerami Grant.

Definitely not. Grant is much more coveted across the league and teams across the league were trying to get Detroit to trade him

Again, key point is I believe Portland is going into full rebuild and believe Dame is gone sooner rather than later. They're not winning now nor are they anywhere close to it. trading for wood doesn't even make that team better than what they had this year before they made the trades

I would think Sacramento would also be in search for some immediate help considering they just traded a diamond prospect in Haliburton for Sabonis. Why draft at #6 if they're making moves like that?

This is what I hope happens. Get a future pick for it perhaps trade Gordon or Wood and take back a bad contract.

Then use that asset along with bucks pick next year to move up in the draft from where the rockets end up. Get one last blue chip player before the wonderful Westbrook trade starts.

Jalen Duren will go quick by the 5th pick and Ivey by the 3rd pick

Duren definitely is not a top 5 pick. One of those 5 teams is stupid if they take him that early

Duren is the next thicker/stronger/more athletic less skilled Chet Holmgren.

    I say top 6!
