no I’m not, but harden is having a better shooting season than a lot of other guards. True shooting percentage
ya, he's been better then what most media will say, but he also hasn't been nearly as good as even last season
thats just my point last season he still didnt make all-nba harden played 44 games last year, lebron played 45.. harden had the better season but lebron made 2nd team all-nba and harden didnt make any team
Lebron is irrelevant since he's a forward. Curry, Doncic, CP3, Lillard, Beal, Kyrie......who would you replace with Harden? Also, you have to consider Harden's forced trade from Houston.....that's a big blemish to overcome.
He probably could have been named over Kyrie but with the ugly exit and injury it wasn’t going to happen.
It's pretty stupid that forcing a trade from A to B factors into deciding who gets named to an All-NBA team. By not considering Harden seriously for an All-NBA team nor for the MVP, the media is considerably biased. I'm not saying he had to win the MVP or anything, but to only get one vote in the MVP race? A fifth-place vote, at that? That's just plain ridiculous. Any other player averaging what he averaged while being the main reason why his team went 48-24 and getting the 2 seed in his conference (1 game back of the 1 seeded 76ers) should be top 5 in MVP voting. So, back to the All-NBA discussion. Curry, Doncic definitely deserve it over Harden. CP3 played more games than Harden while being pretty efficient and Lillard had, probably, his best year. So those 4 get no arguments from me. Harden contributed more on offense for his team than Beal did for Washington (a team who went 34-38), was a better all-around player than Kyrie and, again, was the main reason why the Nets didn't completely drop in the standings after Durant went down.
Look at it this way....all-NBA consideration is given to a player's entire season. With the Rockets, Harden had a negative impact. That should absolutely be factored into all-NBA consideration. I don't see any bias whatsoever. Harden played 44 out of 72 games last season. Translated into an 82 game season, that'd be 50 games played. IMO, that's not enough games played to warrant all-NBA consideration, especially when 8 of those 44 games were with the Rockets (negative impact). And don't underestimate how good Kyrie was last year. He had a 50/40/90 season.
Jokic finished with 971 points. CP3 finished 5th place with 139 points. After CP3 … players that finished 6-15 nobody received more than 42 total points. Are you really that upset that he only received 1 fifth place to call it ridiculous? I know you think I’m a Harden hater but it really wasn’t close… at all. I mean he could’ve finished with 100 points if it makes you feel better and I’d have no issue with that but it doesn’t matter or at least it shouldn’t. Not even to Harden’s biggest supporters. He can score all the points, dish all the assists, and make 5 more All NBA teams but if he doesn’t win a Championship it doesn’t matter. People can name other great players that didn’t win a Ring to justify Harden’s greatness and future HOF status and that’s all fine but if he really wants to cement his legacy and reverse his reputation he needs a ring. The general consensus for All time great shooting guards has Drexler, Iverson and Harden anywhere from 5-7. If Harden gets a ring he would clearly be a lock for 4th or 5th place on the list ahead of Iverson and Drexler. Again, Harden was pretty damn awesome in Brooklyn last year 29-7 in games he played. That’s nice and all but again that’s only 36 games. A small sample. Beal had one of his best years last year and despite the losing record he had a lot of hype and buzz cause he was leading the league in scoring most of the year and finished right behind Curry at 2nd place. Again, missing out on an All NBA team or more MVP votes for a race he wasn’t even remotely close in doesn’t matter. What he does in the regular season the rest of this year and his career won’t matter to people outside of his fan club.
this is my harden hell shoot you out of games and commit serial turnovers at the most inopportune moment hell commit offensive foul attacking basket because hes to stubborn to shoot the midrange
Classic Harden summed up in a :36 second clip. Careless turnover merchant messing up in the 4th quarter. I’m shocked! Teammates standing around while Harden dribbles the life out the ball. What a kill joy.
