I had to go back to refresh. 5 of the top 10 picks in that draft have negative career VORP.

I just really want at least one highly skilled two way upperclassmen with our later pick.

    Agbaji, Tshiebwe, Liddell(top choice).

Will transition well to the next level.

For me, if we miss a top 3 pick, it is Keegan Murray without doubt.

There is every chance he is the best player in this draft. He has a solid floor, and high ceiling without being a franchise player. A guy who could play all star games but not as the "main man".

I'm happy with any of my top5, but would be scared if we fell to 6th.

Man get out of here with those depressing statistics. We're worried enough already.

Nice summary of the consensus top four. I think Jabari could be Matt Bullard 2.0.

The advantage of picking one of these guys is that they can contribute immediately (in theory)

To develop next year we already have

    Green (still needs work)
    KPjr (needs work!)
Sengun (a lot to fix here)
    Nix (talent is there)
    #pick 1-5
Garuba (lots to work on still)
    Christopher (more to develop)

Agbagi seems like a poor fit to me - we have a lot of wings already
Thswiebe I like the look of, but taking him essentially says we are not interested in Garuba
Liddell- there is a lot to like here

Edey reminds me a lot of young Yao

Ivey has been quiet and passive, but his physical tools as a guard definitely jump out. That last spin and drive was special.

Beard does have a good defense for perimeter players, and Purdue doesn’t have enough shooters to force something different. Still, it’s weird that he’s been used as a decoy so heavily.

    Ivey almost caught a body!

They cannot guard Yao Ming's little brother.

Zack Edey looks like Yao Ming's son.

Ivey should go number 1... when he fixes that shot. It’s over.

    Chet
    Ivey
    Smith

in that order. I didn’t watch Banchero so won’t rank him. Chet has the size and unicorn factor. Ivey speed and athleticism is clearly nba level. Worried about Smith being a role player. Best case is he’s a Middleton style player.

At 6’10 you would hope that Jabari could exploit the mismatch and size advantages more often than not. I’m not as high as others on Chet’s handle and ability to create off the dribble, but he has enough to at least draw some fouls and make defenses pay for switching. My biggest question about Chet is why does he shrink vs tough competition?

I'm not a great one for comparison, and I haven't seen him play much, but Ivey reminds me of a taller Ja Morant.
