    When Elvin Hayes and Don Chaney were playing the home games were at capacity and the noice level was deafening. Prettiest cheer leaders ever.

    If Arizona wins it should be a late start for sure. If TCU wins itll still be prime time I bet.

    The Illinois fans seem to be split in two camps:

    A) We were overseeded and Houston was under seeded so GG committee

    Or

    B) that technical foul cost us the game (lol)

    I'm hoping for Arizon because it will take an amazing amount of luck to get to the Final game but getting a crack at defeating a 1 seed and doing it is something these young men and staff deserve. I'd be happy beating TCU but beating a 1 seed would put me on cloud 9.

    That's the thing about the Tourney though, you beat the team in front of you. They earned the right to be there just as much as you did.

    Shead took over in the clutch. White finally snapped out of his funk. By then it was all over. We absolutely trashed them in the final 5 minutes.

    I was at a sports bar, where Ill alum have been having watch parties over the last several weeks. Nice people, but today there were 20+ Ill alums and I, alone, had to rep COOGS.... my voice was equal to the task.

    Houston was ranked ahead of Arizona for part of the season at the start, and AZ barely beat Illinois. This is a fair fight.
