Really good stuff here. I thought your analysis was spot on each post.

I’m glad you have the layups he missed. I can’t get them to link individually without the one right above it so it’s the 2nd and 4th clip. Anyways, the moves he made to even get these layup attempts were very impressive. He just didn’t finish at the rim even though they were uncontested. He left 4 easy points on the floor last night. On his defense, they were both left hand attempts, but he has to convert those. His burst is insane and these don’t make the highlights because he didn’t make the shot, but they clearly show how special he can be.

Oh ok lol. Yeah his breakdowns of what he saw was really good. I’ll never understand why Christian Wood never tries to switch back onto the big when he has a chance. Makes me think he’s an idiot or scared. Then I also question the coaching because he’s been doing this all year. Just leaves his guards guarding 7 footers and watches.

I suspect a combo of all of those things + lack of communication by the players

He's finally putting it together, and it's beautiful to watch. The game has slown down for him, and he gets more confident with each minute played. He's showing more skill with the ball, and using his athletic advantage in a smarter way.

IMO he could be looking even better with a better substitution pattern. Silas would be wise to stagger KPJ and Green more often. For example, don't play them like last night, basically all of the 1st quarter, and then sit them at the same time. JG needs more touches, and he has much more chemistry with the bench unit. So instead of playing JG and KPJ all 1st q, sit JG at around the 4min mark if he's not cooking, and then let him start the 2nd q with JC/KJ/Sengun. They all play great off of each other, and have good chemistry. I would like them to play this lineup more, mabye as we clinch a top3 worst record, there will be a few games left to let them play a bit more together.

Jalen can start the sets in the 2nd unit, and get more reps to develop the drive and kick. Also, we waste about 4-6 JG points per game, just by Wood/KPJ/Tate missing JG run outs in transition. Those are easy points for JG, and they more often than not end in highlight reel dunks and alleys, which in turn energize both the team and the fans in the arena.

Tate and Wood need to be traded. What is Tate? He’s a hybrid 3/4. Has no business in a good starting lineup with shooting.

Tough game for Green. I think he’s looking tired these past few games, which isn’t surprising him being a rookie.

I guess he was due an off game, he's earned it. Didn't play that bad, he was one of the better players on the floor by +/- which indicates he must be doing something well other than scoring - drawing attention, playing defense, assists.

Green looks like he's going to get even better when he plays with a good, experienced PG. Schroeder reduces spacing/defense and KPJ doesn't seem interested in being the team's PG anymore. I'm sure it's not easy watching Green explode into relevance so easily.

We need a defensive floor general who can hit an open 3. Doesn't have to be a star at that position, just a solid vet who can set up and calm down Sengun/Green/lottopick when necessary.

I don't see any point in tanking next season, Green and Sengun will be too good for that to happen imo.

Give me Jaden Ivey who is as explosive as Green who can kick to Jalen on dribble drives and is interested in running in transition.

Would rather invest that pick in someone with a big wingspan, it is impossible to win a title without one of those. At PG would rather get someone who knows how to run an NBA offense, a low-medium priced vet.

Great bounce back game for green. Also well rounded

    17 pts/6 reb/5 assists/a block and a steal on 14 shots

Green with another sign that he is a complete and unselfish player!
    With a +\- +28.
But... how difficult it is to play as a team with KPJ and Wood!

Green is pretty solid now, I now trust him as one of the better decision makers on both ends.

Our entire squad needs to hit the gym and bulk up. Way too much timidness and blocked a true rims goin on between Green, KPJ, Wood, and Mathews. Even sengun be missing bunnies.
