What I see from Chet in just this game: He is skilled and smart, and uses his height well, he has quickness for his length, but has poor explosiveness and just looks weak so he isn't able to get position and looks like he is just up against a brick wall when he gets the ball. He does have the ability to get around his man but not if the defense is set. I think he would really struggle in the NBA unless he gets much stronger.
He is just loafing around at the 3 point line on offense. Silas is like, welcome to my offense young kid. For being a 'tooth pick' he sets pretty good screens.
Yea I missed the first few minutes and the block party but I get the feeling Memphis wanted to test him, try to get him into foul trouble early.
He doesn’t have poor explosiveness. They’re playing a zone, the guards are doing a poor job of finding soft spots and Chet is being too passive on offense. Deferring to Timme
Gonzaga looks finished already, 1-5 from the FT line, mentally weak. I'd blame this on Chet but this run happened with him on the bench.
This is on the coach... Chet has gotten touches out on the perimeter where he is comfortable but idk he looks lost their whole team looks lost. Still another half and Penny got heat for being a bad coach but give him credit. Only a couple teams ranked in the top 50 this year had more rotation players out (Houston, Illinois & OSU; all top 25)
memphis is good they just rarely put it together for an entire game once big daddy chet gets goin in the 2nd half its over
