No one can question Green's quality and potential anymore. The haters have had to bite their tongues and it's hilarious to see their justifications. I think now is the time for Green to start being more selfish and realize that he should be the first option on offense, not Wood. Well... I really hope I don't see Wood on this team next season.
One of the coolest in-game dunks you will ever see. But even Brewer can't match Jalen Green's burst, which is kind of crazy when you think about it.
I see Jalen utilizing some of Walls moves. Say what you want about dude but he’s been in the lab with Green and probably been a vital part of progression as rookie.
Yeah the first 1 or 2 months, then he went to Miami for workout and stayed there barring any new developments.
I believe it was Pablo, could have been Dali, who once said a good artist borrows, a great artist steals. Look at all these lazy Americans stealing Manu's moves. With Green's footwork, he could steal some of Hakeem's moves. He's already done it in a couple of games vs Gobert and v Memphis. Green is no longer that drive in a straight line at max speed or shoot the 3 player. The game has slowed down for him so much so quickly. The usuals were laughing at Barkley's star comment regarding Green.
From Shaq! Whenever Shaq had an inferior player on him and was about to dominate he would say......"smells like bbq chicken!". Means an easy, tasty meal!
Yup. He's making multiple step through and euro step moves, Weaving in and out of traffic, finding mid range spots, etc. It's amazing to watch how different he looks fr the first half of the season.
I've been saying this, Sengun was furthest from NBA shape on the roster when he arrived. Don't look at his natural build, just look at his arms, his posture and his jump. He's working on his stamina too and just in general, his body is still not close to NBA starter shape. Look at the way he runs, he doesn't run with the bounce or explosion a basketball player his size should. Stamina is also historically linked to foul problems, and that's exacerbated his habits there. He's got a lot of work to do there, but I think we'll resolve most of it in the summer (along with his 3pt shot). Physical training and 3pt shot he's going to absorb well, it's going to open his game up like crazy. Excited.
I thought the drive in the 4th where he didn't get fouled, only hit across the shoulder and inner forearm, was one of his craftiest moves yet. Rox twitter has to have a replay of that one? They didn't show one in the broadcast
In psyched about how good Jalen has been looking the 2nd half of the season. Hoping we ship Wood out of Houston this off-season and we get a top 2 pick again. Also, please stop the KPJ PG experiment, we need a real PG.
