When Wood is the recipient of those passes it's going up.. I did feel like Jalen's passes were more intentional to get Wood a bucket instead of Wood just launching.

True, but look, remember when Harden would do that and pass to Lin with a second left forcing him into a bad shot and how this board erupted about how bad Harden was? People complained that all he did was dribble.

No one complained a few years later.

Not really sure what you're saying.
What happened is exactly what I explained to you. The Rockets went to Green down the stretch but given that KPJ IS the pg he is going to have the ball and the option to take shots.
If you still believe he is the designated "go-to" guy, I don't know what else to tell you.

Silas and Lucas are afraid of him going mental again so it's like walking on egg shells. I don't mind the loss so kudos.

    Tired of Silas and KPJ.

Green should’ve had a chance to hit the game tying/winning shot

Frankly, this was a good loss.

The rookies, mainly Green and Sengun, were instrumental in the winning part of games. Green played the most minutes and had the highest +/-, and whilst +/- doesn't mean much on a per game basis, he was clearly the winning player down the stretch.

Fortunately, the players that are somewhat known for playing for themselves (KPJ and Wood) made multiple key game losing plays at the end, almost to a comical degree that everything they were doing was wrong and detrimental to the team.

It goes to show that if you need to operate a tank, you always need tank commanders.

KPJ took all the shots late, if that's not the "go-to" guy - who is then?

And whether that's by Design or just KPJ making that decision - doesn't really matter. What matters is thr result and that's KPJ taking late game shots in 95% of late game situations. Thus the go-to guy

I called it, I said Green needs to be the primary ball handler and @Drofroc the admin threatened to banned me.

    Did they really though?
I think they had decent games, but not good.
I WAS happy with Jalen doing a much better job of attacking the pacer d in the 2nd half than in the 1st.

Interestingly enough we held their 3 headed starting guard monster to 19-48, but their center duo was 17-18.

Props to C-Wood though for being more physical tonight.
Plus it seems like the last 2-3 weeks he's been shooting his free throws at a better percentage.

What about Eric Gordon to PJ Tucker a couple of years ago?
