It's amazing to think he had that stretch with the Rockets where he seemed to play with a higher bbiq. Big ups to whoever was responsible for that.

Westbrook just keeps giving ammo to the media and opposing players whenever he opens his mouth. Someone HAS to teach him how to speak to the media after these games. He's a veteran, sure, but he's never had to deal with this kind of negativity before - you'd think LeBron or someone in the Lakers' org would at least make it a point to coach Westbrook what to say.

"People calling me Westbrick, hurts my family legacy." Saying that will make opposing fans boo you even harder and call you Westbrick more, since they know it bothers you.

"I'm not bothered by trash talk. They [Minny] have guys that haven't done anything, so it is what it is." I get that it's a way to devalue the opponent's taunting and trash-talking by saying they lack accomplishment, but all that's doing is making opposing players hate you more. Especially when all you've done is win MVP once, due to averaging a triple-double - something that becomes more irrelevant as the years pass.

Dude needs to learn how to present himself after games. Not only is the dude criticized for not being a good basketball player - he's now being portrayed as someone who's always in his feelings and now can't take insults when people hurl them back.

At this point one has to wonder if LeBron purposely traded for Russ and wanted this team to implode. He saw how fat and out of shape AD got after that bubble ring and probably realized "I can't trust this guy to carry me in the playoffs anymore. The rest of the team is ass....sooner or later everyone is going to come at me. Why not trade for a scapegoat and deflect any responsibility from me next season?" and *boom* Lakers trade for Westbrook. Now people can look back on this team in a few years and said "yea Russ really tore this team down. LeBron's stats are ridiculous!" but that's just the headline fodder...this season's goal for James was to keep padding his career stats/numbers.

I'll take my tinfoil hat off now.
