Maybe Matt Ryan goes to Cleveland...... and the Texans can take on Mayfield.

I have never been a huge fan, but Mayfield played with a bad shoulder all of last season.

The year before when he was healthy, he put up 3,600 yards with 26/8 at 25 years old.

He may be worth a second rounder.

I thought he was found NOT GUILTY? So even if you're found not guilty, you're still guilty?

Now I'm really confused. Is this how the justice system work?

He was not found not guilty. It’s sad that you can’t understand that

He wasn’t found not guilty. The grand jury just didn’t feel they had enough evidence to indict. He has several civil cases pending. If he wins those cases then you can say he’s not guilty.

Usually in the real world when "assault " is attached, it's a crime. I wonder why it's not so this time. Maybe its because this is all a bunch of cockydoody?

He wasn't found not guilty, they did not press charges against him.

Also, if we are going to use this as the standard, then do you believe everyone in jail is guilty and not innocent?

Do you believe that OJ Simpson was involved in killing his wife?

The reality is that powerful and rich men do terrible things against women and get away with it all the time.

The former President had dozens of claims against him...... power and money can cover a multitude of sins.

If you think that Watson didn't sexually assault and harass the nearly two dozen women, then that is on you - but most people are going to look at Watson and think he is a POS.... this isn't 1950 or even 2010 .... society has had enough of it.

How is he delusional when everything that he’s doing is working.

he got paid for doing nothing last year
He still gets to dictate and be like a free agent while under contract with the Texans
He knows he’s not going to have criminal charges against him

everything that he is looking for this off-season, he’s going to get.

Reality is that he is in a position to get more money - and I don't have a problem with it. It is part of the business and if he wasn't "worth it", teams would not be lining up to trade for him. I don't even really have a problem with him signing an extension and then demanding a trade. It protected Watson financially but it also insured that the Texans would get value for him.

Where he crossed the line was serial sexual assault.

I disagree. He’s not in a position to get paid more. He’s being paid as a top three qb when he’s not a top 5 qb and coming off a year of not playing. There is no telling is he will be the same, worse, better. He has been passed up by younger better QBs.

likely not worth rehashing but I don’t believe in a 22-women conspiracy. It defies logic. But like the rest of Houston I’m looking forward to the Watson era being over. It’s hard enough to root for a team who’s ownership and management has been this incompetent. Even harder to root for a unrepentant, self entitled, two-faced scumbag. In the contest of who screwed over Houston more, Watson has Harden beat by a million miles; not even a comparison.

I’m not a big fan of booing ex Houston players (except Scottie P), but I can’t wait for the boos to rain down on DW when he returns to Houston.

You may not think he is in that position and I may not even think he is. However, apparently two teams at least believe that he is as they are apparently willing to renegotiate his contract. It is all market driven..... two teams are willing to trade a lot of value and pay him more AND deal with a possible suspension and having a sexual assaulter on their roster.... all because QB's are so valuable and because Watson is good.

Between Warren Moon almost killing his wife and her boyfriend (Moon and his wife were divorced) and the multiple times he beat her and got away with it, and the sexual assault by Moon of a woman that worked for him..... now Watson with all of his assault issues ..... it would be nice to have a star QB that is just a normal ******* and not someone that should be in prison.

The only reason you feel this way is because of an alleged, unproven narrative being given by an aforementioned incompetent organization. Where was all this anger and hate when Watson was breaking records and making NFL history as a rookie? Exactly. Just what I thought.
Plus, Hardhead screwed himself way more than he screwed Houston.

In the eyes of the court, you are either guilty or you're not, you are pregnant or you're not, you are black or white.....there is no in between.

Either he walks or he faces charges.....he didn't face charges.

Yeah man. I can’t disagree with any of that.
I want a QB that we can be proud of.
I’m hopeful Mills can be something, even though it’s not likely.
