China is the one that can prevent World War III. If China puts pressure on Russia, then it's over unless Putin is just crazy at this point. If he's crazy then there is very little we can do other than give up Ukraine and kick the can down the road and hope Putin dies soon.
There is nothing Putin and the Russians are doing that is inconsistent with Russian/USSR policy gong back to at least WWII. It will not matter if Putin dies. This is not about Putin. This is about what Russia perceives to be their critical strategic interests in the region. They have been clear on their readiness to go to war over this since long before Putin was in office, and they will almost certainly continue to maintain that perspective long after he is gone.
China can definitely help make peace and be on good terms with the rest of the world. A lot of positives for them and hopefully they are smart and see that. But, it's still up to Putin to end the madness and no one else.

These 8 people are bad people who should be monitored and ostracized. Gaetz was also weirdly involved in the Jan. 6 stuff and other shenanigans, right? Kinzinger and Cheney are good. These people are very bad.
If the GOP Party doesn't censor rid them, they basically condone the behavior. You can't turn a blind eye and pretend you are different. They need to remove the right wing radicals, and call them out for who they are to those who voted them in.
It is utterly shameful that 8 Republicans voted against this bill. The vote should have been unanimous, although I wouldn't have been the least bit surprised if Greene and Boebert had voted against it. The 6 others will join the pair as pathetic examples of just how low the Republican Party has fallen.
I would say that based on what I see here and the context of what they are trying to achieve with it from a Russian propaganda perspective, I would say there was a delay and they cut out before he said something truly off the wall that teetering Russians would think “maybe that’s a little too much for me.” The whole point of this charade is to convince Russians that what they are doing is popular and you should get on board. Putin is truly losing it if he can’t even keep on message without launching into an unhinged diatribe that comes off a Jim Jones in the tent asking the congregation to drink the cool aid.

You realize they were censured by the Republican party. If these two are good, the majority of the party is rotten. I don't think most Republicans realize what their party has become.
