so is never tanking and being 2011-2020 rockets... it can be done.... tanking is anti- sport in fact tanking is against nba rules...its cheating... you may as well pay the refs under the table and be equally proud of yourself....
are you losing this argument on purpose(ie tanking) or youre genuinely not good at giving an articulate responses to support your point of view?
yeah i know a guy that sold his house, gambled at casino and increased his fortune 10 fold.... that doesnt mean its a good idea for people to sold their houses and go play in casino.... theres no way around hard work... instead of tanking for Dream it was 10 times better to work hard and build something more sustainable and durable....A CULTURE.... a HIGH bb iq hard working culture... they could have perhaps won 5 titles in a row if they did so....instead loser culture is still swell here in houston....and that may even lead to tilman perhaps moving this franchise outtahere one day to vegas or something... just you wait...
You are not bright IMO but yes have it your way. You are neither a friend nor a good sport as well and crazy. Welcome to the list. Go away.
Yeah put me on ignore i am still gonna hammer down on your tanking nonsense whenever i feel like it and make you look like a fool...lololol
killing natives is how we got this land... it doesnt make it right to still be killing other people afterwards....
What exactly would you want from the coach in a rebuild? My main gripe is his substitution patterns and minutes allotment, but this team sucks so what difference does it make? Let him play Bo Porter for a couple seasons and then find your championship coach when the time is right.
I was simply asking, if it is better to be the worst team in the league or the 2nd - 5th worst team, since the worst team rarely win the NBA Draft lottery.
this analogy is flawed because the chances of winning the NBA lottery are 14%, 52% that we stay in the top 4, and 100% that we stay in the top 5 if we hold onto the worst record. If you told me I had a 14% chance of winning $100M, 52% chance of winning $10M, and 100% chance of winning $1M, then I'd sell my house every time (assuming the value of the house is less than $1M in this scenario). Your analogy also assumes the rockets have a house to sell for a lottery ticket. I'd say trying to win as many games as you can with John Wall and Christian Wood doesn't make this season a valuable house at all. Its more like giving up on the room you're renting with 2 other annoying roommates, to live in your parents house for a year, and then take those lottery odds given above. I think its an easy choice.
First play the youth in system that fits their talents. Next eliminate all players that are not with or hurt the development of the youth. Feed the veterans in only if needed. Let the young players finish ever game. (I do like how Silas seems to be somewhat fatherly). Most of what I am frustrated with Stone should have taken care of. Less being more authoritative with veterans when they are counterproductive —> Wood —> (Stone’s mess)
Spurs tanked for Duncan. Cavs for LeBron. Countless teams with the no.1 tanked. You don't just luck into the worst seed Doesn't matter if Bron left. He carried that **** franchise to multiplie finals It's an all or nothing league.
3 worst teams have the same odds of winning the lottery. But being #1 means you won’t fall out of top 5. That’s a big plus.
Team with worst record has not picked worse than 2. Team with second worst record has picked out of the top 4. I'd go with the odds of having a safer bet of getting top 3 than possibility of missing the top 5 altogether.
