    Thank god, baseball.

It's become a yearly palette cleanser from the other 2 organizations.

Feel for Pena, must be tough being an infield prospect in this organization. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders but taking over for Carlos is a daunting task.

It's tough to break in with a great team. But there are always unexpected opportunities.

Man, La Tormenta is a FANTASTIC nickname for a ballplayer. Now I hope Pena turns out to be the real deal as much to be chanting that as I do just for further Astros success.

Two Innings? I honestly don't know the typical first game load, much less coming off TJS. It seems like we haven't had a normal Spring Training in forever.

With a couple of notable exceptions most of these players will be in minor league camp sometime next week. Dusty needs a chance to see them play but with another short Spring he will need to concentrate as much time as possible on the 40 rostered players.

I agree. 5 top 30 prospects, 3 26 year olds who might be eligible for minor league FA and a 24 year old lefty outfielder.

It looks like the rule from yesterday is 2 IP for the Starting Pitcher. With the shortened Spring training, it will be hard to ramp up to even 5 IP before the start of the Season. Extraordinary workload for the BP for the first month.

2 IP for the starting pitcher isn't a "rule". It's quite normal for the early games of spring training.

Last year it wasn't until game 9 that an Astro starter pitched into the 3rd inning.

It doesn't look like they're adjusting to a shortened Spring Training by pushing load early. Only One went 3 IP yesterday. Probably the smart move to not rush the pitchers and plan on using the BP for IP.

Found 790 Stream for the game today. Decided to bookmark it. KOGT has stopped broadcasting so I need a new Astros Radio Station that doesn't black out the Home Games.

I hope I can find a free streaming station this year. It seams every season I have to find a new link for streaming. It's down to offshore gambling promoter streamers.

MLB blackout rule are the absolute craziest business move EVER. They want you to pay a hefty premium and then blackout the only team you really want to see.

Even with a short ST why would they risk rushing things? Not only are there less games, there was less time leading up to the games.

Why not just pony up the $20 to buy the MLB audio package?
