Really tough call between sauce and Hamilton but I give the edge to Hamilton.

There is a world where HOU could draft Hamilton at 3 and Sauce at 6.

Should make Davis Mills really comfortable with his position right?

    Yeah I just don’t see the point…

    https://www.nfl.com/prospects/ej-perry/32005045-5255-6525-55d9-15c1ccbd72f3

    Strengths
    • Broad, sturdy frame.
    • Legitimate option for called running plays.
    • Speed to hit chunk runs and scrambles outside the pocket.
    • Throws with decent anticipation.
    • Extremely competitive regardless of game or score.
    • Might be able to play versatile, Taysom Hill-like role for an offense.
    • Could provide toughness/athleticism for special teams consideration.
    • Earned East-West Shrine Bowl Offensive MVP honors after posting 241 yards passing and three touchdowns.
    Weaknesses
    • Has small hands and a high number of turnovers.
    • Very willing to make a low percentage throw.
    • Has a long, javelin-toss-like release.
    • Poor intermediate accuracy and ball placement.
    • Quick to bail on progressions to void the pocket.
    • Footwork and mechanics create inconsistent delivery.

I doubt we'd be drafting him to play quarterback. What's wrong with spending a late round pic on a Swiss army knife type player?

2 things…One jack-of-all-trades players rarely work out and two the Texans re-signed Driskell. Using that late rounder to trade up or to trade for some depth is probably a better option.

But hey if the scouts and Caserio see something they like in him they should go for it…

I was all for Neal or Ekwonu when it looked like Tunsil might get dealt. But their decision to restructure his contract and keep him makes it feel less likely they go OT with that pick. Maybe the idea is you draft one of those guys to be Tunsil's replacement when you do trade him and you let that guy duke it out with Howard for starting RT duties, or you move Howard inside? I dunno, but I'm more inclined to want to see the Texans take a defensive player at that spot than I was prior to the Tunsil restructure. They really need interior OL more than they need tackles right now.

Unless they think someone is going to trade up for him…it ain’t happening.

There is also a world where Houston could draft Thibodeau at 3, trade down and draft Jordan Davis at 12 - 15.

I think I love that world better.

Create a market for Willis trade the 3rd pick to Carolina or Seattle so that they can draft Willis with that pick. Add a couple more 2nd rounders

    You have the 6th pick, 8th pick, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd . Draft best available everything

Either way, Day 1 of the draft will be amazing tho
